It was Saturday, and the students were buzzing with excitement for the Hogsmeade trip.

Seraphina pushed through the crowd to find Harry. She spotted him in the Great Hall and grinned as she ran towards him. "Hey, Harry!"

"Hey, Seraphina."

"So what do you want to do today? Should we go to the Forbidden Forest like last time? Or maybe we can try the forbidden section of the library like last year!"

Harry smiled at her. "Um, I'm sorry, Seraphina, but I'm going to spend time with Professor Lupin today. So you can go to Hogsmeade." "

I can wait for you, if you want. Or do you want me to come with you?"

"No... it's a private lesson..."

Ah, Professor Lupin is going to teach him the patronus charm.

Harry patted her shoulder. "Have a good time at Hogsmeade." Her shoulders slumped with worry, but she didn't press the issue anymore. She went to the courtyard and saw everyone had gone to Hogsmeade already.

"Miss Blakewood? Can I help you?" Mcgonagall approached her.

Serephina pulled out the folded permission slip from her bag and sheepishly held it out. "Um, my dad signed it..." T

he professor smiled knowingly and accepted the piece of paper. "I knew you lied for the sake of Mr. Potter. It's good to know he has a loyal friend like you. You truly do belong in Gryffindor, Miss Blakewood. I'm proud someone like you is part of my house."

Seraphina smiled back with a glowing face. That was the best compliment she had ever heard.

"I believe Miss Granger and Mr. Weasley will be thrilled to know you're joining them. Go on."

"Thank you, professor." With that, Seraphina went to enjoy her first Hogsmeade trip.

-----

I can't find Hermione or Ron anywhere. This is why we need cellphones here. Oh, whatever. I'm sure I'll bump into them at some point. For now...

Grinning excitedly, Seraphina went into Honeydukes. The smell of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and pumpkin pasties tickled her heart, and she practically flew over to the shelves of lucious treats. They have everything here. She dumped more than enough sweets into her basket. I'm sure Harry will like treacle fudge. Now, I should grab my favorite...

Seraphina spotted the Glacial Snow Flakes and grinned.

"Gotcha," she whispered. She reached up but frowned.

They were just inches from her grasp! She was about to pull out her wand when a long arm reached above her. She watched as the pale hand grabbed a box of her favorite sweets. She felt the person pressing against her and slid her gaze to the side. She spotted a black turtleneck and a silver chain necklace. Attached to the end of the necklace was a dark green stone, and she knew exactly who it belonged to.

"Draco."

Draco smirked at her as he shook the Glacial Snow Flakes. "Seriously? This is one of the lamest treats here."

Sereaphina snatched them away. "Well, it happens to be my favorite."

"I know," he said, catching her by surprise. He cleared his throat and looked away. "I'm assuming you want more than just one."

"Yes, if you can just grab nine more for me, that'd be great."

"Bloody hell. Are you serious?" "

Don't judge me."

Draco rolled his eyes but tossed nine more boxes into her basket. "

Thanks!" Seraphina grinned. The annoyed glint in his eye softened, and a ghost of a smile appeared on his face.

Seraphina looked around. "Where's-"

"If you refer to Pansy as my girlfriend, I swear to god..." Draco glared at her.

Seraphina held out her palms in surrender. "Don't get your knickers in a twist. I wasn't going to refer to her as that."

Draco raised an eyebrow.

"...Where's your wife?"

With a burst of laughter, she ran away. She didn't expect Draco to chase after her and panicked at the last second. She swerved and rammed right into a Slytherin boy. Her treats fell over the floor, and the student sneered, "Watch it, you fucking half-blood-"

e froze when Draco was right behind her.

"I'm sorry," Seraphina apologized. It was true she hadn't been watching where she was going. She bent down to pick up the sweets when Draco caught her arm. His icy glare pierced right through the boy. "Pick them up."

"W-What?"

"I said, pick them up." There was a hard edge to his voice.

Muttering something incoherently, the boy bent down and unwillingly picked up her treats. He placed them in her basket, and Draco snarled, "Now apologize to her."

Both Seraphina and the student gawped at him.

"Now," Draco hissed. "I don't have all fucking day."

"S-Sorry." With that, the boy ran off, and Draco rolled his eyes. "What an idiot."

"That was unnecessary," Seraphina pointed out.

"Aren't you going to pay for those? Or are you still going to look around?" Draco asked. "No, I'm done here."

Seraphina headed for the counter.

Suddenly, Draco pushed her out of the wall and pulled out his wallet. She stared at him and asked in bewilderment, "What are you doing?" He didn't reply as he paid for her.

"You know, I put something for Harry in there."

Draco stiffened, but that didn't stop him.

"Okay..." Confused, Seraphina took her bag and followed him out of the store. "You didn't have to pay for me. I mean, I'm pretty well-off too. Not that you know. But psychiatrists make good money in the muggle world."

"Just a thank you will suffice, Seraphina," Draco sighed. She opened her mouth but paused then softly whispered, "Thank you... Draco." He gave her a half-smirk and looked around. "Do you want to go to the Three Broomsticks?"

Her eyelids fluttered in surprise. He wanted to actually go somewhere with her?

"Um... I was actually looking for Ron and Hermione-"

"It's for our potions project," Draco interrupted.

Ah, of course. He wouldn't just want to hang out with me for no reason. You're getting way too ahead of yourself, Seraphina, she scolded herself before saying, "Well, we can always do that tomorrow-"

"I have quidditch practice tomorrow."

"Oh... um..."

"If you want to fail, that's fine, but we all know if we get below the average marks, you can't play quidditch," he sang, and she frowned. He had a good point.

"Fine. Let's go..."
