I'm stuck. I hate this. Who invented potions?

Seraphina sighed and rested her chin on her palm. She had gone to the library straight after dinner, but she was still stuck on her Potions homework, and she still had Divination left.

"Bloody hell, Seraphina. I've been looking all over for you," a sigh came from behind her, and she looked up to see Draco coming around the table. He slapped his book on the table and plunked down in the chair in front of her with an annoyed/relieved sigh.

"Where else would I be except in my own personal version of hell and heaven?" She held out her palms and shrugged.

Draco looked at her and sighed again. "I thought I told you to be safe."

"I am. I'm nowhere near that freak, and that freak is nowhere near me."

"But I was nowhere near you."

"Which automatically means danger?" Seraphina tilted her head and blinked.

"I told you to stick by my side," Draco muttered.

"And here you are."

"You're impossible."

"No, this Potions homework is impossible." Seraphina frowned down at her assignment and thought about burning it. She knew the spell for it, too, so she could do it right now. "That's easy. I already finished mine. Want to see it?"

"Thanks, but no thanks." Seraphina held up a hand. "I may be a procrastinator, but I'm no cheater. I refuse to copy answers."

Draco smirked with a shake of his head. He stood up, came around the table, and sat next to her. "If you wanted me to be your personal tutor, you could've just asked." He winked at her, and she pushed his cheek so he was facing forward. "Be quiet. Now give me your wisdom."

"You just told me to shut up though."

"I said 'be quiet.' There's a difference."

"Same thing."

"Just explain it already! I don't want to sleep here with you again!"

A few heads turned away, and she ducked her head in embarrassment. "That came out wrong..."

Draco chuckled. He cleared his throat and pointed. "Listen carefully because I'm only going to explain it once..."

Fortunately, they finished faster than last time, and they weren't the last ones to leave the library.

Seraphina spotted a few Lagora students and muttered, "I can see why they were expelled from other schools."

Draco smirked. "That reminds me..."

"Huh?" Seraphina looked at him.

"I heard you used my name today." He gave her an amused smile, and she turned pink. "Uh... a little?"

"Do you know how confused I was when Flint confronted me about how he had to entertain Fernsby because a 'half-blood Gryffindor' told him it was my order?"

"Oh. Um... surprise?" Seraphina meekly smiled at him.

"You're lucky I'm quick." Draco tapped his temple with a smirk. "If I hadn't played along, Flint would've come after you."

"I believe Marcus is the least of my problems right now," Seraphina muttered. At least Flint didn't go after girls the way Felix did. Flint was just a school rebel. Felix was... capable of something much more diabolical.

"You should've just said your last name was Malfoy," Draco said.

"I actually thought about it-"

"You what?"

"Huh?"

Draco was grinning at her, and Seraphina jabbed a finger in his direction. "Wipe that smirk off your face, Draco Malfoy! It's not what you think!"

"And what exactly am I thinking, Seraphina Blakewood?" Draco murmured as he leaned towards her.

Seraphina reeled back and cupped a hand over his mouth. "How the hell would I know? I can't read minds." She lifted her gaze, and they locked eyes. Her heart and mind started racing, and she found herself falling into his icy blue eyes once more.

"What are you two doing here?"

They looked up to see Percy, and Draco's eyes narrowed at once. He straightened up and looked dryly at the Gryffindor Head Boy.

"Hi, Percy," Seraphina mumbled. He was probably her least favorite Weasely. The odd thing was, he was pretty nice to her when they were at the Burrow, but once they were at school, the pride went to his head, and he treated her like a random student instead of his brother's good friend.

"You two shouldn't be wandering around at this time of night. You especially know better than that, Seraphina."

"Don't get your knickers in a twist, Weasely," Draco quipped. "We were just coming from the library. If I remember correctly, studying isn't against the rules."

Percy shot him a look. "I suggest you go to your dorm now."

Draco smirked. "I will after Seraphina goes inside."

"No, go first, Draco," Seraphina said as she nudged his side.

"No." He didn't stop staring at Percy. "You first."

Percy rolled his eyes. "I better not catch you two around so late again." He swept by with a whish of his robe, and Seraphina sighed in relief. "You know, I hate all the Weaselbees, but I particularly despise that one the most," Draco said.

Seraphina didn't disagree with him, but she sighed and said, "One day, he's going to get you in trouble."

"He won't dare. He wants to be in the Ministry. That means he needs to look favorably to the Malfoys." Draco smirked pridefully.

"I should go before your head explodes with your ego." Seraphina skipped up the steps and arrived in front of the Fat Lady. She said the password, and the Fat Lady gave her a fishy look before opening the door for her.

"Dating a Slytherin, are we?"

"What? No!" Seraphina glanced back and saw Draco still standing there. One corner of his lips surged upwards into a smirk, but his eyes were soft, and he raised one hand in the air.

Seraphina softened and smiled back as she waved.

"Liar," the Fat Lady muttered.

Blushing, Seraphina hastened towards the common room.
