Chapter 7: You scared me

Jays POV

I hated seeing her in this much pain and I wanted to take it away but I couldn't. I sat there for hours just watching her and making sure she was okay, her cheeks weren't so red anymore and she looked to have more colour in her which was promising.

Hailey's POV
I had no energy to open my eyes, I could feel jay's hand rubbing my back up and down. I try to open my eyes but when I do I can feel my head thumping, as if I can feel my pulse in my head. "Uugghh" I moan. "Hails? You okay?" I hear jay ask as I feel his hand lift from my back and onto my head. "Sore" I moan again "I know I am sorry look maybe we should get you to your bed and you can sleep it off" jay said and I just kind of space out. "Hails Ik it's hard but you can't fall asleep here" I hear him say as he shakes my shoulder a little bit, I feel his arms help sit me up and I am forced to open my eyes.

Jays POV
She still looked so weak but I knew she would be comfortable in her own bed so I decided to I would take her up. I help her stand up but her legs are shaking and she falls forward a bit, "hey it's okay I've got you, just put your arm here okay there's no rush" you whisper in her ear as I wrap my hand around her little waist. We slowly take the stairs one by one and she is managing but I can tell it is hurting her, "your nearly there" I say "t-thank you Jay" she says quietly "you don't need to thank me" I say as we finally make it to the top of her stairs.

I open her bedroom door and I help her get under her covers but just when I am about to leave I hear her mumble my name. "J-jay if it's not to much hassle do you think - umm - that you could stay with me?" She says sweetly "whatever you want" I smile back.

I brush my teeth and I head back into her room, I grab the remote and I turn Netflix back on and sit with her. I pulled her into a more of a comfortable position and I had her head placed on my thigh as I played with her soft silky hair. Soon after I managed to doze off to sleep with her still with me.

Next morning

Jays POV
I woke up with her still sound asleep in my embrace and it was the best feeling in the world, I know I should have learnt for loving Erin last time but there was just something about Hailey that made me k is that she would never leave. We both have this chemistry and we both feel it, I hope, but I still wonder if she sticks with what she says about in house relationships.

All I know is that I am madly in love with Hailey Upton and will always be!
