Hailey's POV I am getting discharged from the hospital today and I couldn't be happier to get out of it, of course Jay is making me spend my first night out at his just so he can take care of me. To be honest I am quite happy to stay with him, I practically have a second cupboard at his and most of my clothes are at his anyway so I won't need to pick a bag.
"You ready?" He asks "yep all set" I say as I stand up and walk towards him "good, Will says you need to take it easy for a bit and in a a couple of days he will take a look at your stitches."he says as he places his arm over my shoulder and I love mine around his waist. "I have a surprise for you when we get back" he says cheekily "what did you do?" I asks suspiciously "your gonna love it I promise" he smiles as we walk through the hospital and out to his car.
When we got home he took my hospital bag from my then my jacket and hung it up. "Follow me" he says as he takes my hand and leads my up the stairs and into the bedroom. I look over to the bed to see a basket next to the bed filled with all my favourite goodies. "Aww Jay" I say as I walk towards it and look inside "I've got more" he says as he points to the bathroom "in there?" I ask confused but he just nods so I head over and open the door.
I literally nearly cried when I walked into the bathroom to see the bath all lit up by candles, bubbles and rose petals spears around in the water. He had my favourite chocolates at the side with a glass of water next to it. "Jay........it's..beautiful" I say as I turn around to see him smiling at me from the door. "you deserve it" he says sweetly "call me when your ready and I will help you out, and re put your bandage on" he says as kisses me then pulls the door over but doesn't shut it completely.
It was the sweetest thing ever, I had to take a photo of it and send it to Kim. ---------------------------

I text Kim
"Awww bless 🥺 at least he shows his love pretty sure Adam could take some pointers."
She replies and I chuckle to myself as I read it. ---------------------------
1 hour later
I have managed to munch my way through the chocolates and the water has now gone cooler plus the some of the candles are dying out. I try to stand up but I knew that I would need Jays help for this part. "Babe!" I shout as I waited for his response "yeah?" He calls as he enters the bathroom "I need a little help" I chuckle as he smiles and walks towards me. "How was it?" He asks as he grabs my a towel and sits it on the unit "nicest bath I have ever had" I say as he helps me out. He wraps the towel around me and grabs the 'first aid box' Will made for me.
He places a new bandage over my stitches then tapes the sides of it to my skin. "Hows it feeling?" He asks "sore sometimes but more annoying now" I say as he stands up and I wrap the towel around me again. He pulls the plug from the bath and I walk out and into the bedroom.
I shove on a pair of comfy pjs and sit on the bed next to him. He is just laying there smiling at me, not saying a words just looking into my eyes. "You okay?" I ask as I crawl down next to him "yeah just looking at how beautiful you are" he says and I roll my eyes "Jay Halstead what is happening to you, you are being very romantic and it's very sexy" I say as I lean in and kiss him. "You know me" he chuckles as he kisses me back. "I want to ask you something" he says as he sits up a bit "okay" I say.
Jays POV "Move in with me" I ask as she raises her head at me "whaaa...?" "Move in with me" I repeat. "Hailey I nearly lost you. It was a wake up call for me, it took us so long to admit our feelings for each other and I don't want time to get in the way of our happiness. I love you and want to wake up every morning to your beautiful face-" before I could even finish my speech she kissed me. Slow and deep but very meaningful. "So is that a yes?" I ask just to clarify "it's a yes" she smiles as she kisses me again. I lay her back down on the bed and continue to kiss her. "Man I love you Jay" she says as I look into her baby blue eyes and smile "I love you too babe" I say as I kiss her again. I swear I am madly in love with this girl, I haven't been this happy in years and I have her to thank.
2 week later
Hailey's POV I have finally finished unpacking and I officially live with Jay and I couldn't be happier. I was a bit sad to be selling my apartment but I want to live with Jay it's so much more amazing. I am literally with him 24/7 and usually people would be sick of seeing each other but I get more butterflies the more I see him.
This house is now mine and Jay and I couldn't be more in love with it, he actually agreed on getting some of my furniture in here. I chucked his couch out and took mine in but we both agreed that mine was bigger, more comfy and I wasn't giving it up anyway so really he had no choice.
I do still have some boxes in our bedroom but I have finished setting up the guest room instead of it being a storage room and it looks way better. "Hails you coming to watch TV?" I hear him shout from down stairs and I just smile "on my way" I call back as I close the door and head down stairs to cuddle with him.
