Chapter 6: Hails?

Hailey's POV
I was awoken by the sound of something getting chopped and as when I open my eyes I can feel that they are heavy. I slowly raise my head I can feel this horrible pounding pain in my head. "Hey your up!" I slowly turn around to see him cooking "you okay?" He asks with his beautiful smile, I nod back with a smile "what you cooking?" I ask as I attempt to stand up "the best pasta you will ever eat! I like to call it the Jasta" he says smiling and I just burst out laughing, "Sounds amazing" , "ugh Jay honestly you don't need to do this if you want to go you can it's okay I can handle myself" "Hails I am staying, your not a burden to me okay? Besides it's nice to be finally taking care of you considering you have been doing that a lot lately for me." All I could do was stare into his eyes, his big beautiful eyes abs smile. My heart latterly melts when he calls me Hails, no one has ever really called me that which is why it is so special to me.

The dinner timer went off and that's when I realised that we were still staring at each other but I just couldn't look away from him, he was giving me his sexy Halstead smile and everything in that moment felt amazing. "Okay sit down I will serve" he says as he pulls out a chair and helps me sit down "thank you".

When I was sitting waiting for the food everything was sore; my head was pounding: my side was in so much pain and I could feel myself getting weaker. "Hey Hailey you okay?" I hear Jay asks and I look up at him "yeh just feel a little sore, maybe I should go lay back down instead of sitting at the table" I say as I slowly stand up. I can see Jay walking towards me and I feel like I couldn't see anything: it was all going fuzzy until it was darkness.

Jays POV
As I was plating up our dinner i look over at Hailey and I see her go pale all of a sudden and she look horrible, "hey Hailey you okay?" I ask as I place everything down "yeh just a little sore, maybe I should go lay back down instead of sitting at the table" she says as she slowly lifts herself from the chair. I was really worried that she was going to fall so I started to walk towards her, she swayed a little but then her legs just gave way. I ran over and caught her just in time. "Hailey! Hailey can you hear me?" I said as slowly lay her on the floor and put her in the recovery position. "Hails come on wake up" I say as I gently shake her shoulder.

I waited a second and I was just rubbing her back when she started to open her eyes "Hails, hey can you hear me?" I ask "W-what happened?" She asks as she looks around "you passed out! Are you okay are you pain?" "E-everything i-is sore" she sobbed and it nearly broke my heart. "I know I am sorry. Let's get you to the couch" I say as gently pull her into my arms hoping not to hurt her side more and I placed her on the couch. I see that she looks really flushed so I grab a cold towel and I sit down on the floor in front of her and I carefully dab it on her head.
