Hailey's POV
Today I have called Kim over to help me empty and pack up Faiths stuff from the guest room. I haven't been in there yet and I knew that I would need some support. I though of getting Jay but I think I want Kim for this one. She said she was more than happy to help and that she would be over soon.

We make it to the door and I pause as my hand rests on the handle. "Hailey? You okay?" She asks. I nod back in response before taking a deep breath. I open the door, turn on the lights then walk in. The room was quite messy, her makeup was scattered across the desk and there was a couple of tops she must have been trying on that night on top of the made bed. Some of her jewellery was at the side along with a couple of books and papers next to her desk. Just like her to be leaving things in a mess.

We walk in and I slowly scan the room. Seeing all her stuff made me well up. Kim rests a hand on my shoulder. But suddenly I feel myself smile while looking at all of her things. Everything making it feel like home. I walk over to the desk and start over at the make up and start packing it into a bag. Sadly I'm going to have to bin it considering we can't use or keep it. I pull it into a bin bag and then I go to her jewellery. I see a charm bracelet at the side and then a couple of necklace's. One of them is a silver chain with a heart which on the side says 'forever my daughter' I feel myself well up as I read it. I pick up the box next to it before putting it in it. I close the box it was in and leave it at the side.

As I continue to pack to other jewellery in the boxes I hear paper rustling and I look over to see Kim looking through some papers. "What it is?" I ask as I walk over to her. "Ugh nothing just some of her work things I think" she says. "Ohh okay just leave it at the side. I will put it in a file and send it back to her clinic" I say as I turn back to the table. After everything from the table was put away I pack up her clothes back into her suitcase. I'm going to put all of this in the loft except for her make up. I don't want to get ride of anything that reminds me of her. Once we have tidied all of her things away I start to polish the draws while Kim hovers. She has been so much help to me today, making sure I'm all right.

Once we have done everything I thank Kim for all of her help before she leaves. I get changed into some jeans and a jumper before grabbing my bag and heading out. I jump in the truck and start to drive around. I put the window down as I drive, letting the cold fresh air hit my face. I take in a much needed deep breath and enjoy the feeling. I drive around for another 15 minutes before I finally arrive at my destination.

I arrive as Faith family home and I feel weird. This isn't like I'm a kid anymore but somehow I still feel like I running here to hide from my own home. It's like deja vu all over again. I walk up the steps and stop at the door. I take a deep breath before knocking. I wait a moment before Mrs Mitchell answers. "Hailey darling. Is everything alright?" She asks. "Yeah" I smile. "Come in please" she smiles as she steps aside from the door. I nod before walking in. "Take a seat" she smiles as we enter the living room.

I sit down on the side next to Mrs Mitchell. She smiles at me as I look at her. "I was just clearing out Faiths room in my house. She left a couple of things that I think you would like to have." I say. I open up my bag and pull out the jewellery box. I see her already start to tear up. I pass it to her and she opens it. She starts to cry as she looks down at it. "This was the necklace I got for her when she turned 21" she whispers as she rests her fingers on it. I look back in the bag and pull out a small silver photo frame that had a picture of Faith and Mr and Mrs Mitchell surrounding her as she blows out the candles on her 8th birthday cake.

I pass it to her and she holds it close to her chest. "Hailey, dear you will never understand how much this means to me" she whispers as tears start to stream down her face. "Thank you" she cries as she pulls my into her arms. I immediately wrap my arms around her too as we hold each other and both cry over the loss of our best friend.

After spending a few hours with Mr and Mrs Mitchell I decided it's time to head. I drive back home and see that Jay is already back from work. He is sitting on the couch with a beer in his hand. I throw my keys on the island before slumping down next to him. I take the beer from his hands before taking a swig. "Ugh excuse you Upton" he half chuckles as he looks over to me. "Yes Halstead?" I ask as I raise an eyebrow at him. "That was my beer" he laughs. I feel myself smile as I take anther swig. "Sorry" I chuckle as I hand it back to him.

He take it back in his hand but doesn't look away from me. "How did it go?" He asks quietly. "She was sad. She cried a lot and so did I" I say honestly. "I know how hard that must have been for you today" he whispers as he looks at me. "It was but I did it" I say as I cuddle up next to him. "I'm proud of you" he says as he holds my hand. "Thank you" I smile as I kiss him. He smiles at me before kissing me again. I rest my head back down on his shoulder as we both turn our attention to the TV.

*Sorry it is getting shit. My writing it taking a turn and is getting worse. I will try to improve"
