I look down at the dark liquid in my cup, crushing the last of my burning cigarette into the ashtray before leaning back into the outdoor couch, sighing to myself as I look up at the blue sky and few clouds, trying to enjoy the peace and quiet for as long as possible. Which means before everyone starts flooding the kitchen, or Niall and Alice come outside to workout and interrupt my much needed alone time.

Sleep has been difficult to get for the past two days, I've been trying to go to sleep either way because Devon has had trouble sleeping too, but for her it's been the past few months. Ever since Lucy left her sleep pattern has been shit, which means that mine has been shit too, but I don't have it as bad as she did for all that time.

She had a lot of nightmares at first, up until last week even, and ever since Lucy has been back she's been sleeping all through the night. Which means that she's never awake when I wake up, and that was 3 hours ago. It's now 6 a.m, 3 hours since that fucking nightmare woke me up and almost made me jump ouf of bed.

I finish the last sip of my second coffee and stand up from the small sofa to walk back inside the kitchen to put the cup in the sink, I then open the fridge and grab the bottle of orange juice, shaking it out to assess how much is left in it. I shrug to myself and close the fridge, walking out of the kitchen and through the living room. I stop in my tracks when I see Harry laying on his side on the big ass couch, he lays there dead asleep, his arm hanging off the edge of the couch and his hair a wild mess on his head.

I frown to myself, almost wanting to kick him in the arm just to startle him and make me laugh a little, but I figure he would probably kill me for it, and besides I'm not really in the mood to laugh anyways, he looks exhausted as fuck and I feel like absolute shit.

So I leave him be and walk towards the stairs, opening the lid before taking a long sip from it. I slowly walk through the long corridor but I stop in my tracks when the silence is interrupted by the sound of a sniffle coming from the other side of the door of the first bedroom on my left.

I turn my head to look at the white door for a few seconds, I know Lucy is on the other side and I'm wondering why she would be awake so early, and I'm also confused the fact that she's awake at all because she's been sleeping all day everyday and all night too because of her fever.

After I found Harry having a breakdown in the backyard that night we brought her back, he told me that she had a really bad fever and then it went on for two and a half days. She was half conscious most of the time because of her body temperature, there were a few times where she would be able to stay awake for about half an hour but then her temperature would rise and she'd fall asleep again.

She really gave Niall a few almost heart attacks this one, mostly because Harry would've killed him if something really bad happened to her. But I'm guessing whatever doctor thing he did to her worked, because apparently she's awake now.
