It felt too early to be awake and it is only 10am. I just want to be at home, it is the only thing that I can think about. But we have a problem, my brother. I don't know what Morcar's plan is but it better be good, well, he better actually have a plan, I haven't even asked him.
The four of us stood on the end of the boat and watched the mountains and hills pass by as we got closer to our destination.
"So Arielle," Charlie looked me in the eyes and took a step closer. "How's your parents? I've not heard you talk about them. Is that who you're going home to?" He grins at me and tilts his head. That son of a bitch, why can't we just kill him now, chuck him overboard or something.
"No I'm not going home to them, someone murdered them Charlie." I glare at him whilst he attempts to give me a sympathetic look.
"Oh I am so sorry. Wanna talk about how they were killed? Do you know who killed them?" You.
"No- I don't know who killed them, no one knows," I stare at Morcar for reassurance, but he is looking out at the mountains so he didn't see me.
"Funny how you think I don't know about what you are planning against me. You know who I am." Shit.
"Excuse me- I have only just met you today. I have no clue who you are." I could feel my hands begin to sweat and my stomach churn.
"Right.. Sorry about that then. I'm gonna go and stand with my girlfriend now," Jesus, don't make it too obvious you brainwashed her. I suddenly started to not feel so good, nauseous almost. I think I'm gonna throw up. I run over to the side of the boat and lean my head over it in pain. What was going on? Why did my head hurt so much? I could feel the sick crawling up my stomach to my throat and before I knew it-
Morcar's pov...
"Oh my god! Arielle, what's going on? Are you okay?" I run over to her and rub her back. She was really throwing up, like, really bad. This wasn't normal, it wasn't sea sickness. She was throwing up blood. 'Oh my god' I whisper to myself as I continue to rub her back like I was burping a little child.
"Morcar, something isn't right, I'm throwing up blood."
"What were you doing before you started to feel sick?" I question, because I had no idea what caused things like this to happen.
"I was talking to Charlie and-" Charlie. That son of a bitch, what is he doing to her?
"What is going on over here? Oh my god! Arielle, are you okay?!" Coraline rushes over and assesses Arielle. "She is having a reaction to something, a non-human reaction. It's almost like something from hell.." I look over to Charlie standing there, watching. "I-I can help her. I have been practising belamimia for a while now, I think I will be able to do it." Coraline looks at me and smiles.
"Anything will be better than seeing her like this." I pull her away from the edge of the boat, sit down on the deck and put her head on my thighs. She was barely awake, she had gone a pale white colour by this point.
"What's going on 'ere? Is the lady okay?" The ticket man approached from the over side of the boat. "Would you like me to ask the cap to make an emergency stop?"
"That won't be necessary." Coraline smiled at the man before looking back down to Arielle. "Right, you have to trust the process with this one, because I have not been actually able to fully conquer it yet, okay?" I nod at her before looking back at Arielle's face. She looked so calm, quiet.
"Morcar." Arielle breathed.
"Y-yes?"
"I can see them."
