"Well, what are you still standing there for? Go." I try to move but my feet feel as though they are stuck to the ground.

"Why're you doing this? You have ruined my life enough, what are you gaining out of this?" I held back my tears because I did not want to look like it was getting to me, but it is.

"This is just a pass time, when I eventually kill you, I am going to haunt you in your afterlife, you cannot escape me darling, I'm your worst nightmare." I look at him in disgust before turning around and getting off of the boat, Morcar and Coraline following slowly behind me.

"What are we going to do now?" Morcar looks at me before looking at Coraline.

"We run." I say before looking round. What are we going to do? "If anything happens, I love you both, so much. I am so sorry that-"

"We are not dying today, okay? We will figure something out. We are going to be okay. Do you trust me?" Morcar said strongly. I dart my eyes away from his gaze. Not because I didn't want to look at him, just because I know that there is no way out of this situation, we are going to die.

"Y-yeah, you guys go ahead. I have a plan." Coraline looked at us before starting to walk away.

"Where are you going?" I say to Coraline. What made her think it was a good idea to split up?

"Please just trust me on this one, I've been here before, I can stop this. You need to hide and make sure Charlie doesn't get too close, you trust me?" Before I could protest,she was already gone. Morcar grabbed my hand and ran into the jungle. The trees stood limply on the ground and the once fresh greenery was nothing more than a dry brown setting.

We have been running for what felt like years now, I could feel my heart pumping through my chest. If we go any further my heart is going to fall out of my mouth. "Morcar. Please can we find somewhere to hide, anywhere. I can't keep running anymore, I can't br-breathe." I fell down onto a large rock before I finished my sentence.

"Hey, hey Arielle, it's okay." Morcar looked at me before picking me up like a baby. "I'll carry you." I could feel my eyes urging to shut, but I had to stay awake, I had to. I could not let Morcar do this on his own.

"What are we going to do Morcar?"

"We are going to find a place to hide,survive, then go home."

"What if it isn't that easy, I mean, Charlie wants me dead. And if he gets what he wants and-"

"You know that I am not going to let that happen. If he wants to kill you, he is going to have to kill me first,okay?" His words sound convincing, but I don't want Morcar to die for me. I just want him to live his life, even if that meant me dying here and not being in it. Coraline too, she has done so much for me, that I will do anything to save her. Speaking of, where is-

"Sorry guys I was gone so long, but I think I've found a way to get out of here." Coraline approached us from out of nowhere. I wonder where she has been, she hadn't been gone for long, it had only been a few minutes but at the moment time was extremely precious. "Why is Morcar carrying you, did you hurt yourself?" That's embarrassing, I totally forgot that I was in Morcar's arms. After a second, I jump out of Morcar's arms and look over to Coraline.

"Right, what's the plan?"

"So what we have to do is get to the top of the volcano, get to the edge, and jump in." Coraline looked at me deadly serious, was she crazy? We will die. I look at Morcar and he gives me a worried look, he thought she was as crazy as I did.

"Are you crazy? You know if we jump into a 1000 foot volcano we will die, there is no way you are surviving a jump like that." Coraline looked at us before tutting and started to walk off.
