"Thank you for that" I say hiccuping from laughing so much "it's no problem Raelynn he needed a blow to his ego after talking to you like he did" he replies sitting on my bed "that's nothing compared to usual, he called me a bitch infront of the whole school last week and said I need to sleep with guys for them to be friends with me also infront of the whole school" I explain pulling out my math book "if I said that about a girl my sisters would've beaten my ass there and then and then I would've got another from my mom at home" he laughs "how many siblings do you have?" I ask smiling "I have four sisters, Stephanie also known as Steph is the oldest then it's Shayna then Maryse, they're my older sisters and then I have Alexa who goes by Lexi she's the youngest" he laughs "so we're basically the opposite your surrounded by girls and I'm surrounded by boys" I laugh as he nods.

"So you've met my brother unfortunately but what are your sisters like?" I ask him "Well Steph is the oldest out of us she's 25, she doesn't live at home anymore though um she's a physiotherapist and she's married to her best friend Hunter, it's funny cause I hated him at first when they started dating but he's become like the brother I never had they also have 2 girls Alanna and Brooklyn my nieces" he smiles taking a sip of his water "Shayna is next she's 25 and she's just graduated college and is now a veterinarian, she still lives at home but is looking for her own place with her girlfriend Dakota" I nod as he carries on "then there's Maryse who is 24, she's an assistant for a guy called Mike Mizanin he owns Mizco the high fashion place" my eyes go wide "seriously! I own 2 jackets from his brand by dad got me them for my 16th" I explain "she's actually secretly dating him but nobody knows except me I caught them together at a coffee shop" he laughs "and then that brings me to my sunshine Lexi she's 10 and the baby of us all, very spoilt and she knows it but I wouldn't have it any other way" he grins "here I got a photo of them all" he pulls out his phone and shows me the photo.

"You and Steph look so alike!" I say looking at the photo more "we get that a lot" he smiles "so what about you?" He asks "what about me?" I giggle "tell me about yourself I wanna know more" he smiles "well I've lived here in Philly my whole life, I'm half Latino and half Puerto Rican" "I'm guessing your dad is Latino and your mom is Puerto Rican?" He asks and I nod "I have 1 sibling that's Nathan unfortunately, the girl you will always see me around is Alyssa my best friend also my other best friends Roman who is Alyssa's boyfriend and Seth" "those are the shield brothers Nathan was talking about?" "Yeah there's also Dean but I'm not exactly on a friendship level with him now after what he did to you" I say awkwardly.

"You ready for me to teach you how to shoot some hoops?" He laughs making me smile "sure am but go easy on me" i grin as we walk downstairs "lyssa!" I yell seeing my best friend walk in "I've been texting you nonstop!" She laughs "I didn't even realise sorry, where's Ro and Seth?" I ask her "I'm behind you doll" I hear Ro say making me spin around "Ro!" I grin hugging him "and Seth well it's a long story we'll explain outside" Alyssa says giving me a look making me nod "I almost forgot Alyssa, Ro this is Randy he just moved to our school today" I smile "Randy this is my best friend Alyssa that I told you about and Roman her boyfriend and my other best friend" I grin as Alyssa waves "hey Randy" she smiles "sup bro" Ro says making me roll my eyes "ugh boys anyways come on Randy was just about to teach me how to play basketball" I laugh as we head out to the basketball court in my back garden.

"So are you gonna try out for the team?" Roman asks "yeah Im hoping to get on the team i was the captain for the team at my last school" Randy explains "why don't you two have a one on one match while I catch Raelynn up on things" Alyssa says catching Ro's eye "I'm down for that" Randy says throwing the ball to Roman as me and Alyssa sit on the bench "so what's going on?" I ask knowing something is up "I didn't want to say anything in the house in case your dad heard and I didn't want to say anything around Randy either but it's Dean" she explains making my heart pound "he's got himself arrested" she says "he's done what?!" I say with my head in my hands "after his conversation with you about Randy, he left the school and basically got drunk in a bar and then tried to drive home but got caught, I'm guessing the cops gave him a phone call and he rang Seth and that's where were at now Seth's trying to get him bailed out" she explains again "have you got your phone" I ask her as she nods and hands me her phone.
