It's been 2 weeks since I last saw that idiot. How is he? Is he eating properly? Is he even alive? I don't know... How could this happen? The story just bega- "Nee-san!" Shinpachi and Kagura excitedly came towards me. "You two.." I looked at them as I patted their heads. Shinpachi told me that with Otose-san's help they might have found where Gintoki is and told me to accompany them. As much as I wanted to go and help, my body didn't move a muscle.
"Nee-san...?" they both looked at me in worry. "What if he doesn't want to come back? Wouldn't we be forcing him..?" I whispered the last part. "What are you saying? It's Gin-san we're talking about!" Shinpachi said loudly. "I understand but-" "I won't allow him to forget all the memories we've all had!" Kagura said, her eyes watery. "Kagura..." i murmured softly. "Nee-san, we've never seen you smile since that day" Miriko said. "Yeah, you don't eat properly. I always find you chugging down some beers whenever we don't have much customers" Kiriko added. "We know how much you want him back" Kagura said softly. "And I'm sure Gin-san is trying his best to get back to us, to you" Shinpachi said. You guys... I took a deep breath before putting on a smile. "Let's go!".
The address Otose-san gave us was of a factory. "There's explosions going on!" Shinpachi said worriedly as the factory came into view. "You two, I'll go on ahead and check to see if there's any danger" I said. "Alright Nee-san. We'll be right behind you. Be careful!" they both said before I increased my pace and went towards the factory. When I reached the scene, I was met with something unexpected.
"What? Are you too scared to move? You pathetic loser!" the bushy haird guy shouted at Gintoki who was on the ground. "I'm gonna shoot you so that you disperse into pieces" he laughed evilly. snap. I landed on top of his canon with a sinister smile on my face. "Weren't you gonna shoot him to pieces?" I glared at the guy who pissed his pants seeing me. "W-Who the hell are you?!" he shouted backing away. "I don't care what happens to Edo but I won't allow you to lay a finger on him" i said in an icy voice before tearing the canon apart.
"M-M-Monster!" he shouted running away from me. "Where do you think you're going?" i grabbed him by his collar and threw him towards Hijikata and his team. "All yours" I said before landing in front of Gintoki. I untied him as he sat up. "Why would you come so far for me? I told you to forget about me and live your life!" he said loudly. "I am living my life properly" i said walking past him. "We wanted to come here" Kagura said. "We wanted to be with you!" Shinpachi said. I could feel my eyes getting cloudy as I merched away from them.
I had given up on you since the day you left. I thought maybe if you forgot about your past, that would be the best for you. All the things that you've endured since you were young, all those traumatizing memories you've had, I thought maybe if you don't remember them anymore, you could start a new life. A life that you could live as you wished. I knew seeing you would break my heart again but i was desperate to see your face and also helpless against the kids. But... i am really, really glad to see you alive and well.
"Sorry for taking so long" a voice spoke as it wrapped it's arms from behind me. My eyes went wide as tears fell freely through my eyes. "T-Took you" sniff "long" i said as i turned towards the man who was smiling sweetly at me. I somewhat missed his dead fish eyes... I thought as I stared at him. Suddenly Kagura and Shinpachi jumped on Gintoki from behind causing him to fall on top of me. "W-What are you two doing? I'll get d-dirty" Gintoki complained as he laid on top of me. snap. "Die you pig!" i threw him towards the Shinsengumi guys before I turned on my heels and started walking again. I'm definitely NOT blusing.
