"GIN-SAN! HANAE-SAN!" Seita called out loud. "What are you still doing here?! Take your mom and get out of here!" I shouted. "NO! Are you telling me to leave you two behind after getting you two involved in this?!" "Getting involved? We came here at our own will. If something happens to the two of you, we'll have come here for nothing!" Gintoki shouted as well. "NO! I may be useless but I'll help you and stay with you till the end!" "You-" "Didn't you say so?! That there are bonds stronger than families even when people aren't related by blood? That's right, blood doesn't matter! You guys reformed me, taught me how to lead a respectable life and kept me from being alone. It wasn't very long but it was fun! Just like mom.. everyone..you two are like family to me! And you're telling me to abandon you and let you die in this place?!" "KID!" my loud voice made him shut his mouth in an instant. "Hearing you say that is more than enough. Get going" i smiled at him and saw tears streaming down his eyes. An arm flew suddenly and punched me making me fall back and hit the wall with a large force. My breathing almost stopped and my sight almost gave out but after a few seconds i could see clearly. Hosen's leg moved towards Gintoki kicking him in the gut. "GIN-SAN!!!"
"How pathetic. Your nation, your master, losing everything you had to protect and you die protecting for someone. You want to find a purpose for your sword so badly? You can't protect anything with a sword like that. Not even your own life" as Hosen spoke, my vision blurred at the bloody sight of Gintoki. Gin.. no.. this can't be happening.. i stood up in pain and slowly walked towards him, my eyes not believing the sight. Gintoki's bloody body was suddenly replaced by my father's bloody body. Not this.. don't take him too.. not him.. "NOT YOU TOO!" giving out a shrill cry i charged at the man. Everything around me began to fade, the only thing my eyes were now focused at was one man- Hosen. Everything else was pitch black other than his figure. I'll kill you.. I'LL KILL YOU! after that, i blacked out.
"Hanae! Come back to me! Hanae!" someone's calling out to me.. my eyes shot open and all i could see around me was a sea of blood. W-What's this place? What happened to the fight? i stood up and then looked at myself, my eyes widening immediately. I'm covered in blood.. who's blood is this? There was no body, nothing around, just blood and blood. "Oh, you're up" a voice spoke. "Who are you? Where am i?" "I'm the true form of you, the true form of Yato" "What?! This must be a joke! This never happened!" i whipped my head around to search for the source of the voice. "Oh but it did, once though. That man erased the memories from you when it happened. He suppressed your true powers. Hmm, if i recall, it was during the war. Ring any bell?" "No, it doesn't. Stop hiding in the dark and face me, you coward!" "Oh feisty, i like it. But honestly, i can't. I run through your body so if you ever wanna see me then you have to look at your blood. You know, I'd like to chat with you a bit more but you're lover's calling you" "Huh? What do you me-" "Go now. We shall meet again"
"Mmm!" my eyes shot up in reality this time and as i looked at my body, i was being wrapped around by a ton of people. "W-What's this..?" "Hanae!" i was immediately turned around "Can you see me? Are you alright?" my cheeks were cupped by him "Do you remember anything? Do you know me?" "Yes, I'm fine Gintoki. What happened..?" as soon as i spoke, the females who were holding me, released their grip and took a step back. "You went berserk and did that to him" he pointed towards Hosen who was now standing barely, covered in blood and wounds, his face half damaged, his limbs almost broken. "What..? I don't remem-" suddenly strength left my body causing me to collapse. "Woah, i got you. I'm sorry darling for making you do this. But leave it to me now" he kissed my forehead before telling Tsukuyo and to the females to take care of me. After they held me, he started his battle with Hosen.
"Can you please explain to me what happened?" i asked Tsukuyo lying on the ground. "Even we don't know. As soon as we reached here, we found out you were being restrained by Gintoki. And when he saw us he shouted saying to help him hold you back. It was very hard if I'm being honest. Some of the girls flew back as you moved your limbs. You were.. crazy" she said while bandaging my wounds. "Really.. i-i don't remember anything.." i closed my eyes and sighed. "You saw blood all around you, right?" a voice spoke. "You! You're the one who destroyed the escape! Get away from here!" Tsukuyo pointed her kunais at the boy. "Oh, I'm scared! Please don't kill me.. with your 'kunai's. Anyways, I'm here to talk to Hanae-neesan so don't bother" the kid said before crouching beside me. "What do you want, Kagura's brother?"
"I have a name, it's Kamui" he smiled at me. I nodded my head. "You were awesome against Hosen. He was my master but i never thought he'd lose to a female. Though, if I'm speaking honestly, i think he held back" "Did you just come here to say this?" "Not only that, do you wanna know what happened to you?" he asked giving me a mischievous smile. "Yes, tell me" "First, fight me" "SCRAM!" i almost threw a brick at him. "Ahahaha sorry sorry, it's fun to tease older ladies. But you'll fight me, sooner or later because i always get what i want. For now, no fighting because you're injured and i don't wanna kill someone who was already dead" "You!" this time i threw the brick at him which he dodged while laughing. "So, what happened to you was upto now you've been fighting against the blood whereas the true Yatos always fought with the help of it. The chains in you have been broken, the chains that subconsciously suppressed our true powers. Maybe because of the fear of hurting others.. or because someone did it. You saw your friend in peril and snap, the chains disappeared along with your sanity. That's the jest of it" the smile didn't leave his face. I couldn't say anything, just made my mouth 'o' shaped as i stared at him in shock. "Well, I hope to see you soon, neesan" with a sinister smile on his face, he walked away. What a weird kid..
