Whistles came from the far end of the ladies side. If i recall.. these are Otae's 'friends'.. but why are they suddenly whistling? "Ara Otae-chan, could it be you're jealous?" one of them spoke with a hand over her mouth. "Don't tell me that's your type, Otae-chan"? another added her opinion. "No no, it's not like that at all" she laughed out loud as she waved her hand. Really? Doesn't seem like it.. but more importantly- "The gap between the male and the female's only getting wider Shinpachi. Do something" i whispered to the young boy who was still looking at Gintoki's unconscious body. "Stop it girls!" he suddenly bursted out. "You say those things but don't you actually have a crush on Gin-san?" he counterattacked pushing his glasses up. Oh nice Shin-chan! "That's.. not true" the one who first started teasing Otae answered before hiding her face. She's blushing?!? "W-Wait!" suddenly Gin woke up "I was only aiming for the one-eyed-" "Ouch! I busted my glasses.. my eye ouch"
What the fuck! Seriously?! Did you seriously had to come and ruin this, Sarutobi?! i glared at the now one eyed girl who was trying to cling to Gintoki. "Gin-san should have narrowed it down to one eye and black hair" Shinpachi mumbled from beside me as he watched the play of Sarutobi emotionlessly. "Yeah.. you're rig-" "How about this!" Kondo-san's loud voice cut me off. The hell are those two wearing..? my mouth gaped at their unique costumes. "Yeah, that looks good! Rock n' roll!" Katsura complimented seeing Kondo-san hold an electric guitar whereas he held a stereo. Oh God give me the strength to survive this. Those two have completely ignored the girls and started their own band, completely changing their careers! That Zura has a handsome face but that idiot! URGH I rested my head on my hand and sighed deeply.
As the Joi rebel leader and the commander of the cops played instruments and rapped, my eyes suddenly started getting watery. I don't know why I'm starting to tear up i heard a sniffle from beside me and realized Shinpachi was in the same situation as me. "Wait, what do you mean by Joy of Joi, Joi of Joy? What is even a Joi? Also what's with the 'divine punishment' lyrics? it should be correction of the crime!" Kondo-san suddenly flipped out on Katsura. "No, it's 'divine punishment'. 'Correction of crime' is too long to speak" Katsura replied before resuming his rap. What rapping skills.. "Correction of crime!" "No, divine punishment!" "STOP-" as soon as i stood up to stop those two, the ship suddenly made a sharp movement causing me to fall flat on the ground.
That was what i had assumed but my fall was cushioned by something soft. "Are you alright?" Gintoki asked as he hugged me tighter. "Y-Yeah, thanks. But what happened suddenly? Weather change or something?" i asked looking around. The ship made dives, turns and loops causing the door to wide open. "What's going on?! Is it an accident?!" Otae shouted worriedly as she held onto the hanging body of Shinpachi. "Is everyone alri-" my eyes widened as i realized Kyubei wasn't present among us. "Where's-" "Hey look!" Gintoki pointed above my head causing me to look up. There we saw Kyubei hanging onto the railing of the ship. "KYU-CHAN!" Otae shouted worriedly seeing her. "We gotta save her but how!" Shinpachi said. "Pachi-boy, it's your time to shine. Go save her and make her your lover" Gintoki said as he wrapped his arms even tighter around me. "Huh? Me?! No way! I can't! I can't! You go Gin-san!" "I can't either. My hands are busy" his voice came as a muffle as he buried his face on the crook of my neck. "Let me go then-"
"KATSURA!" Kondo-san shouted as both him and Katsura fell out of the room. This is the second time he has interrupted while I'm speaking in this episode! But something unfortunate happened. As they both fell, one of them collided with Gintoki causing him to push me towards the door before he fell down with the group. Perfect timing. "Run towards Kyubei!" I shouted at the man. "Huh?! I don't have a death wish!" "Trust me!" Gintoki looked at me one last time before running towards Kyubei. He took the rope and threw it towards the girl. "Kyubei! Hang in there a little while longer! Gintoki's coming!" "DON'T! If i touch a man-" "That doesn't matter now!" Gintoki shouted as he pulled the rope up. I don't what happened or how it happened, but as i slide down the deck i saw Gintoki being thrown out of the ship. Shit. Using the railing as stairs and dugging my foot with each step while increasing the speed i ran to grab him.
Exactly a millisecond before, Kyubei beat me it. But since Gintoki was a full grown man and compared to both of their weight he was heavier, she was swept off her feet. "Ahh-" "Gotcha!" i calmly to the girl who was about to scream as i pulled her up. "Hanae-san!" she gasped realizing it's me. "It's alright, you two are fine now" i smiled before looking at the others. Thankfully they all were safe. I heard Gintoki and Kyubei talking about something but i didn't listen to it since my mind was busy with other thoughts. After i pulled them up, the boat safely landed on water. "Jealous?" a hand wrapped around my waist. "What? Why?" i asked Gintoki as he grinned at me. He suddenly turned me towards him with one swift movement and then grabbed my shoulders. "Not jealous at all?" he asked again cocking his eyebrows. "I don't understand. Should i be?" i tilted my head to the side in confusion. He stared at me for a few seconds before a smile spread across his lips. "Seriously though.. how long will you make me wait?" and with that he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "Wha! H-Hey! Put me down!"
