"Like I said, I wanna see your boss" Gintoki said frustratedly to the receptionists who were continuously questioning him. "Sir, do you have an 'appo'?" one of them asked. "What's an 'appo'? Is it another fruit? Does it taste good?" he asked. "Shut up" i whacked his head causing him to crouch down. The kid giggled in my arms bringing a big smile on my face. Ooh I'm enjoying this soo much! "Wait, is that child-" A sudden loud noise occured from upstairs causing everyone to stop what they were doing. I immediately pulled Gintoki by his hand and went inside an empty elevator that just arrived. "Hey wait! You can't get inside that!" the receptionists ran towards us. "Appo" the 3 of us said in unision before the door closed right in front of their faces.
"Gintoki, that sound from before.." "Yeah, I'm also suspicious about it. If whatever Zura said is true, then he is a very very bad enemy" he said worriedly leaning against the wall. "Appo, appo" the baby patted on top of my breasts indicating he was hungry. "What do you think you're doing? You want an appo? Come to me, i have plenty of them" Gintoki said irritatedly. "He's just hungry, idiot. But his behaviours.. it's soo much like you. Tell me where you made your face black. Tell me!" I glared at him as i fed the baby his milk from a bottle. "Hanae, the glare doesn't work now. You're feeding the child. It's too damn cute" he said shaking his head. "This kid!" he said annoyedly he went forward to grab it from me. "Let him dr-" the elevator door suddenly opened and we were unknowingly surrounded by a group of samurais. "Outta my way! Don't disturb me. I'm already pissed" Gintoki shouted as he blasted them all away in one go.
"What do you think you're doing bringing the kid into the enemy's territory?!" Hasegawa-san shouted seeing us 3. "What?" i asked in confusion. "I came all the way here to save your asses. Is this how you thank me?!" Gintoki shouted back. "Alright, enough!" I said out loud causing them to stop bantering. "Explain the situation in 30 words or less" I said. "That old man is after that baby. His son knocked up that lady" Hasegawa-san pointed towards a woman wearing a kimono who looked like she was just beaten "but the old man pushed her away. Both the son and the lady fled from the house and started a new life somewhere else. After the baby was born, a few days later the son died because he was already sick from before due to his weak body. Now that his son is dead, the old guy wants the baby back as his heir" Hasegawa-san stopped talking as he was fully out of breath. Hasegawa-san, good job!
"We came all the way to return him but it looks like we wasted our precious time, right Hanae?" Gintoki asked as i held the baby closer to me. "No, you didn't. That is my grandchild, the Hashidaya's precious heir. Hand him over now" the old guy said. "What do you want to do, kiddo?" Gintoki asked looking at the child. "Appo" the kid softly as he looked in between me and him. "Oh, is that so? Alright then" he said before taking the baby from me and then handed him to his mother. I felt hollow immediately but i knew it wasn't my place to talk. "Sorry old man. He said he'd rather suck on his mom's flat chest rather than your nasty teats" Gintoki said as he held me close. "Don't think you'll get away from this. I have a special pawn up my sleeve. Come in!" as soon as the old guy shouted, the door behind us suddenly slashed open.
