"TAKASUGI, HOW DARE YOU?!" i shouted in rage as i ran towards him to attack him. I immediately halted on my tracks as i watched someone else do it for me. "K-K-Katsura's ghost!" i shouted in fear and instantly went towards the ship's railing. "What? No, it's me Hanae. Look" the ghost said walking towards me. "Back away! I'll jump if you come any clos-" "Hanae!" i was jerked forcefully by the ghost of Katsura. "I-It's you.. i thought you were dead.." tears welled up in my eyes as i cupped his face. "I can't die from being cut up by my old buddy" he said looking at the figure of Takasugi who was now lying on the ground after being slashed by him.
"Buddy, huh? You still think of me like that" Takasugi said standing up and then took out a book from inside his clothes. "You still have that. Heh, we're both stupid" Katsura said doing the same. "Make it 3" i brought out the book from my chest "So that saved you?" I asked putting it inside. "Not fully. His incompetent subordinate was very excited. He just cut my hair without checking and left. What a killer" he laughed disappointedly. "You're not only good at running away but also good at pretending to be dead. So, did you come for a revenge? Do you think I sent him?" Takasugi asked with a smirk. I don't think he would. Not after all the time we've spent together.
"That i don't care. But, i can't ignore what you're trying to do" Katsura said and instantly the inside of the ship blew up. "Boss! The factory! one of the men of Takasugi shouted. "Don't think you'll get out of here alive!" another men shouted. "I can't die until i see the dawn of Edo. Getting woken up by wild guys like you makes Edo feel bad. Sleep without seeing tomorrow" Katsura said pointing his sword at them. "The one who needs to sleep" i snaked my arms around his waist "is YOU!" i threw him on his head. "You made me worry so much! And you're telling me you were disguised as Elizabeth all this time?!" i pulled him up by grabbing his collar "Stop tricking me!" i threw him towards the men who came to attack us. "H-Hanae darling, wait please. I thought this would be the best way without getting people involved" i grabbed him by his legs as i noticed more men coming "That's why i was disguiseeed-" his last word stretched as i spinned him around and shoved the men away.
"H-Hey everyone, that ship's coming this way" a girl pointed towards the front causing us all to look. Wait.. that's! I carried Katsura and immediately moved away from that area right before the ship crashed into us. "Hanae, I'm really sorry" he said after i put him down on a safe place. "D-Don't worry about it. It was nothing" my voice suddenly became mellow and weak at his sincere words. He pulled me to his chest and hugged me tightly. "Do you like that hair?" he whispered softly kissing my forehead. "Looks good but.. long hair makes you even more handsome" i said and then looked upto him giving him a toothy smile. His cheeks became red at my comment causing him to hide his face at the crook of my neck. Katsura's men then came and surrounded us so that no one could attack. Elizabeth came and told us to go after Takasugi. "Come back soon this time" his board read before we went away.
"That's why i specifically didn't tell you because i knew you'd always do dangerous stuffs" Katsura scolded me because i went with him. "I can't stay shut if one of my dearest friends are in danger. Also, you owe me a big treat after this finishes" i said. "Fine" he smiled before looking ahead. A while later, we were stopped by 2 of Takasugi's comrades. "We won't let you go to Shinsuke-sama" the girl said spinning the guns in her hands. "Even though I'm a feminist, i am evil sometimes" the old guy said winking at me. "I'll gouge your eyes out of you wink at Hanae again" Katsura said sternly. Swoon worthy. "I want tons of customers and some good rare sake. Oh and I'm thinking about adding desserts to the menu so help me with that" i said as i stood in front of Katsura. "Hanae.." i heard him call me worriedly. "I'll meet you soon" i smiled at him to which he smiled back before going away.
"Well then, where were we?" i asked the two in front. "We aren't allowed to fight you" the girl gritted through her teeth. I titled my head in confusion. "Shinsuke-sama ordered us not to" the guy said. "Now this concerns me. Why would that idiot say that?" i asked crossing my arms. "H-How dare you call Shinsuke-sama that?!" the girl shouted at me being all flustered and angry. "Mmm? He told you not to fight me but didn't even talk about me? That's.. very like him. Well, let's say we have a lot of history" i emphasized on the 'lot' word seductively causing the girl to immediately point her guns at me. "Wait, Matako! Don't act rashly!" the old man shouted. "You know, Takasugi's order actually makes it easier for me. I also don't want to fight with the people he trusts. So, I'll go that way" i said walking towards the same path Katsura took before a sword and a gun was placed in front of me. "We won't fight but we won't allow you to-" i knocked them two fast unconscious with a hit from the side of my palm on their neck. Now let's see where the party's going on.
