"Welcome!" I smiled sweetly at the incoming customers. Today our selling point has reached a higher level and our kitchen has become very busy! I'M SO HAPPY! I skipped towards the customers cheerfully as i served them their dishes. "One Hijikata special please" a familiar voice said out loud. "Araah, Hijikata-kun! It's been so long since you last came here. And you're without your uniform today. You look veeery cool!" I smiled brightly at him. "T-Thank you. You look really happy today. Any occasion?" he asked, his face softened. "Business is booming!" i gave him a toothy grin. "Glad to see you happy. It suits you" he said, the last part almost came out as a whisper. "Alright, take your seat" i held his shoulders and pushed him towards the counter "I'll bring your food within a few minutes!"
Just when i was about to go inside the kitchen, i heard another order "one Uji Gintoki bowl". "Coming right up!" i smiled at him before going inside the kitchen. After a few minutes i came back holding two trays. "There you go, one Hijikata special and one Uji Gintoki bowl" i said placing the trays in front of those two. Oh these two are sitting at the counter although there's someone sitting in between them. Gintoki and Hijikata exchanged surprised looks at each other before looking at their food. "You seem cheerful today. Did you dream about me?" Gintoki asked flirtatiously. "Look around idiot" i smiled sweetly at him before going to other customers. I noticed the person who sat in between those two look at both of their foods in disgust. I know, i feel you.
After a few minutes or so, i heard commotion from the counter area. "Mines better, right buddy?" Gintoki said as he fed the guy in the middle a spoonful of his red bean rice bowl. "No mine's better, right buddy?" Hijikata asked as he pulled the guy closer and did the same. P-Poor guy.. I almost puked my guts out at the scene. I shook off the gross feeling before walking towards them. "Hijikata Toshirou and Sakata Gintoki" my loud voice caused them two to stop on their tracks and look behind. "Can you please not disturb the perfect ambience of my restaurant?" i gave them my most deadliest customer friendly smile. "O-Osu"
They released the guy and started eating their food quietly. The guy in the middle was passed out and when i thought to help him out, two guys stood up from their seats behind me and picked up the guy. I immediately went towards the kitchen before bringing back a canned juice. "Please feed him this" i said as i passed them the herbal remedy that i made for situations like these. "Goddess. Pure Goddess" i heard both of them say as they took the can from me. "Oh no please, you flatter me. It's my job to take care of my customers" i said smiling sweetly. "Y-Yes, we'll come back again!" they said enthusiastically. "Thank you sir. Have a safe trip" i said as i watched them go.
Now I turned around and glared at those two who were already looking at me. They flinched under my gaze and turned back to their food. I let out a small chuckle before regaining myself. "Enjoy your meal" i said ruffling both of their hair before going back to other customers.
