We all parted our ways in groups. Only i was the one who decided to go alone since i saw them fighting with each other over who would get to go with me. "Food, food, food" i mumbled as i plucked out the fruits from the trees. Since i had no basket, i took off my jacket and used it as a bag for fruits. I was about to towards the next tree when i noticed a large bear coming towards me, precisely running. Out of fear, i tried to run in the opposite direction because i very much care for my life until it hit me. "That's a bear, full of protein. It would be the perfect meal!". Halting myself on the tracks, i turned towards the bear. It flinched watching my sudden change in behaviour. Roaring like a lioness, i charged towards the bear. It waved it's hand continuously, as if it was a human. "Sorry teddy, but you're coming with me!" shouting the words i jumped towards it. "Stop! It's me! Sho-chan!" the head of the bear was pulled up and a man's head popped out. "What?!" but it was too late. I fell on top of him causing him to fall back. "I'm really sorry! I thought it was a real bear and wanted to kill it for food because we all were starving!" i rambled out to him. "Hey, it's alright" he held my face with the paws "Anyone would have run away from it but you were determined enough to kill it for your friends. That's a noble cause" he smiled at me. "Yeah.." the bear fucking stinks!
Sho - I have already found a place to take shelter from this snow. That's why i went out to search for you guys. And on the way, i came across this bear. Because it was very cold and i.. wasn't wearing much, i needed it's fur to keep me warm so i..
Me - Yeah, i understand it. Help is gonna come soon so please don't worry. But seriously, it's praise worthy whatever you did. No wonder you're 'The Shogun'. We were all worried that something might have happened to you so we set out in groups. To search for you, to find shelter and to find food. I did find quite a number of fruits, enough for everyone to eat for the night. I showed him the bag full fruits.
Sho - Woah, that's a lot you've got there. I've found Kondo uptil now. He was almost buried inside the snow, shivering from the cold. If i was any late, he might not be alive. So i brought him to the shelter and gave him something warm to wear. You should also go back to the shelter. I can find them all by myself.
Me - No, no. It's fine. I can help you with finding them. Two is better than one, right? So please, let me help you.
Sho - I insist, Hanae-san. He put his hands on my cheek again. Please go back to the cabin. You'll find the house if you go north from that side. And if you can, please make something warm for the people that are about to come.
Ugh, the bear stinks like shit.
Me - Since you said it, I'll do that. Be careful on your way!
Saying that, i parted ways from him. On the way, i picked up (more like broke trees) a lot of tree branches and twigs, tons of rocks and pebbles whatever i could find to light fire. I also searched for rivers but all of them were frozen. Duh. "Ah, there is the cabin" sighing a breath of relief i opened the doors. "Hanae-chan! You came!" Kondo-san immediately jumped to hug me. "Kondo-san, you stink!" i held my leg out so that his face comes in contact with my foot and that he can't hug me. "Wahh, I'm just so happy to see one of you alive! I thought I'd die!" this snot covered my boot. Ew. "Alright, i see. Now help me with stuffs. Take that bucket from there and fill it up with snow. I'll be making fire now. Thankfully there's a fire pit and coal here. Do you perhaps have any lighter?" I asked. "No. Toshi should have" he replied. "We don't know when they'll arrive.. well, it's all upto me now. You go do what you're supposed to now, Kondo-san" i said taking a few branches together. "Yes!" he saluted me before taking the bucket and went out of the house. The fire was soon made, the bucket full of ice had melted into water. My eyes sparkled seeing there were cups and plates. I used that warm water to clean the fruits, cups and plates. Then i threw the water away and filled it up with more ice and melted it again. This time, for using it as drinking water. I filtered the water using a piece of my clothing before i put the bucket over the fire for boiling.
Kon - You're very useful, Hanae-chan. Whereas i couldn't do one job given to me properly. His brows all droopy.
Me - That's now true, Kondo-san. You're giving me company. If you weren't here, i would feel very lonely. But they sure are taking there time. It's been more than an hour since Shogun-sama went to find them. I hope they're not lost or nothing happens to them.
Kon - Don't worry, Shogun-sama's gonna be alright. I was floundering around in the snow when he saved me. I have failed as a warrior. Can't tell who's protecting who. He crossed his arms in thought.
The door to the cabin bursted open and in came the entire group. They are finally here! My eyes widened seeing the group.
Kon - SHOGUN-SAMA! WHAT HAPPENED?! WHY ARE YOU ALL SO BEATEN UP?!
