"You don't have to give these scumbag money, Kyoushirou-san. Just take your mother to a nice dinner instead" I said loudly before jumping again towards Oba-san. I knocked the two who were holding her unconscious and carried her back beside Kyoushirou-san. Gintoki and the men came and they took care of Tatsuo and his men. I handed the briefcase back to Kyoushirou-san and then untied Oba-san. "Daughter-in-law, what are you doing here? It's too dangerous to be here" she held my arms tightly. "Don't worry Oba-san, I'm fine. See? Everyone's here too" I pointed at the Yorozuya, the hosts, Hanako and Kyoushirou.
"Leave them alone" Tatsuo said standing up from the ground. "Fighting with these two" he pointed towards me and Gintoki "is only waste of money and lives. We have an excuse now to tell boss even if we back out" he said as one of his men supported him to stand. "We rats have a rat's rule" he said looking at me. Why me dude? "I always return a favour no matter what. If i borrow 7, I repay 3. That goes for unpleasant things, too. If i borrow 3, i return 7. Remember this" he said. "I'll make sure to receive your gifts with tons of love" i gave him a customer friendly smile to which he chuckled before turning around and walking away with his men.
Kyoushirou-san said revealed nothing to Oba-san and went back to the club with his men while we went back to Yorozuya. Oba-san lectured Gintoki just like how a mother would and then asked me to accompany her to the train station which i gladly accepted. Before we departed, she handed me a box and told me to give it to Kyoushirou-san. "Oba-chan, you-" "Thank you for finding him for me. I really really wish to make you my daughter-in-law but i know there's someone else in your heart. My Hachirou is far better looking than that lazy head" she said crossing her arms. Haha yes.. wait who's in my heart? "If anything ever happens between you and my son, be sure to let me know!" she said handing me her phone number. "And.. if i ever want to talk to a mother..?" i asked as my eyes got watery. "Of course, I'll be waiting" she hugged me causing tears to flow out of my eyes as i felt the warmth of a parent again.
I went towards Takamagahara right after i helped Oba-san board the train. Damn, i feel so nervous! I've never been here before i thought as i grabbed the box tightly. The large door opened and suddenly i was surrounded lavishly by a number of handsome hosts. Hanako-san walked towards me and then i told her about Oba-san and her gift. She then guided me to a private room to wait since the other hosts were courting me as soon as they saw me. Haha.. why the fuck do i have to feel so nervous? What in the hell am i even sweating for?! i clapped both of my cheeks with my palms in order to calm my loudly beating heart. I heard running footsteps outside from the room and suddenly the door opened wide revealing a panting Kyoushirou-san.
I sat up straight as he walked and then sat beside me. "Oba-san told me to give it to you" i said passing him the box. He looked at the box in confusion before opening it. There was a pumpkin dish and a letter on top of it. When he read the letter, i saw tears flowing through his eyes as time passed. He turned towards the dish and then picked a piece with the chopsticks before biting into it. That's not the face of a host but a loving son i thought as i watched him gobble up the entire food with water flowing through his eyes and nose. Well i better get go- i was pulled back into the couch by none other than Kyoushirou-san.
"I'm sorry.. i finished it all.." he apologized bashfully. "Oh, don't worry. Oba-san left some for us all" i smiled sweetly. He didn't leave my hand but instead he started talking about himself- about his past life, things he had to do to reach this position and such. He needs consoling.. i thought as i gently pulled his head towards my lap. He was shocked at first and didn't budge but gradually he loosened up and relaxed on my lap. I brushed my fingers through his soft silky hair as he talked until at one point he stopped talking. He looks so peaceful.. i thought as i watched his sleeping face which had a boyish smile on it. I gently placed his head on top of a cushion and then called Hanako-san. She thanked me and told me that this was the only time he looked peaceful as he slept. I turned around to face the man on the couch and smiled at him one last time before walking out of the building.
Shittt i thought my heart was about to burst outta my ribcage! He looked so fucking cute! No, I need to get my shit together. It's too early for me to think about marriage! But.. i wouldn't mind him.. NO HANAE NO! Kyoushirou-san is the number one host of Kabukichou. Women would come after me with the intent to kill if they knew anything like this happened. I can't die yet. Yes, that's it. Good, you're doing good.
