I noticed a large number of old men going towards a particular room causing me rush towards that place. And proving me right, there was Otohime running after Shinpachi and the two geezers. The place was enormous with a giant spiraling staircase. Thankfully my sight wasn't as damaged as i thought it would be. What do i do? I am not fast enough to stop her by running up the stairs. What can i do? Just when Otohime was about to toss Shinpachi away from the staircase, Kagura and Kyubei held onto her. Think Hanae think! Look around! Do something! My eyes fell on top of a bag containing arrow and bows. BINGO! Thanks to Kagura and Kyubei, Otohime wasn't much far from the target. Sturdy thick bows, do your magic. "Get the fuck away from my family you old hag!" I shouted before firing the arrow at her. The arrow lucking didn't hit her body but passed through her clothes causing them to be stuck on the wall. "Nee-san!" Shinpachi gasped seeing me here. "Go you fools! Don't make this old lady wait!" i shouted causing him and the two geezers to hurriedly go up the stairs. "My back my back ow ow ow" i supported myself against the wall.
As soon as the countdown ended, i heard a loud noise as if something large was fired. Were we too late..? Is this the end..? i leaned against the wall and slided down before sitting on the floor. My surroundings became blurry as i stared at my hands. A sudden sweet fragrance filled up my nose causing me to look up. What's with the- my eyes widened as i noticed my hands returning to it's original state. Wait, is this the vaccine? Was it the vaccine that was fired? I heard groans from all around me that brought me to the realization that if i was cured then so would everyone be. The old turtle men stood straight and then noticed me before charging at me with their spears. Aren't they tired already? Why don't they realise they've lost? Still, if you're itching for a beating, i wouldn't mind giving it to you. "I was also getting bored" i smiled evilly at the men as they came towards me. After 'talking' with the men below, i made my way up the stairs.
"You guys did it!" i walked towards the group cheerfully. "Yay!" both Shinpachi and Kagura high fived me excitedly. "Glad to see you're fine" Katsura said. "Yeah, you too" i smiled before taking off the shell. "Hey!" Gintoki rushed towards me and covered me with his hands. "I am wearing a cloth over you know?" "That's not enough to hide your beau-" "Why did i lose..? Was it because i looked down on old people..? To think that I've been defeated by the very same ugly and detestable people i scorned" we all turned towards the voice and saw that Otohime was trapped under a large railing. She's bleeding.. "Actually, it's because of that man's help. The one who talked to us through the computer and gave us the vaccine, he was probably the one you've been waiting for. He asked us to save you, Otohime-san" Shinpachi spoke. "Impossible!" Otohime gasped. "That man should be asleep inside the cryogenic chamber! C-Could it be that his consciousness and Ryugujou's main cell merged into one?" she looked at us in shock.
"Who knows? But one thing's for sure, just like how you've been longing for that man over these many years, he's also been doing the same for you" Katsura said. A few of the turtle men came and started to pull up the railing. "Stop it, don't do it" she said to her men. "Give this order to the soldiers- Ryugujou will soon fall apart. Turn the palace around and head back to the sea to avoid damaging the city. Everyone is to evacuate from here" she said. "But Hime-" suddenly the area shook and more pillars and bricks from above fell around. "I can never see that man again. Over the years, not only my body but my soul became corrupted as well. But, thanks to you people, i was able to turn back just before the point of no return. I have left him alone once before and.. i nearly did it again. Thank you.." another set of rocks fell which almost blew us away. Tch. "You..!"
"Hanae! Nee-san" worried shouts erupted from behind me. "Why did you wait hundreds and thousands of years for that man?!" blood dripped down my face "Why is it that among the hundreds and thousands of times you've heard those words, only his are the ones you can't forget?!" my arms wobbled slightly as i pushed the railing up "He wasn't just looking at you.. he was looking straight at your soul when he said those words, wasn't he?! Didn't you fall for his soul?!" my voice started to get higher "So what if you're covered in wrinkles and your back is bent? Whether you wear dentures or covered with spots.. LIVE! Live on! And greet him with that wrinkled face, you damn old hag!" i shouted at the top of my lungs throwing back the large railing. "Kid.." she looked at me in shock. "Old hag" i put my hand forward which she took and then helped her up. "Let's go and live, live for the ones we love"
