Finally a break from the outside world i sat under the scorching sun sipping on the cold beverage. I was at a swimming pool complex because the twins wanted to go to it. And since it was a holiday today, we thought taking some time off of work would be good for our mental health. Too much has happened lately, i need to cool myself and enjoy my adult life thinking that i went to sip from the drink again. "Ah? It's already empty" sighing i got up from the seat to get some more. That's when i realized something was wrong. The building was almost empty. Just one pool was filled with people, other than that there was no one. "What's happening? Where are the kids?" i got worried and started looking around. On the way, i bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where i was-" "Hanae-san?" upon hearing my name i looked up to see- "S-Shogun-sama?!" i gasped at the man. "Haha, did i surprise you? Sorry, i didn't mean to. I saw you searching for something so i thought i could help you" he smiled. "Yeah.. no- i mean what are you doing here? Is that why the place is empty?" "I don't know if I'm the reason for the place being empty.. but I've always been interested in a swimming pool. This is an excellent opportunity for me to experience the life of a commoner citizen. And those gentlemen are gonna help me" he said pointing towards a familiar bunch. I laughed nervously at the men he pointed at because they were the most useless people I've ever seen. "And you're alone here? Where's Matsudaira-san? Shouldn't you be safely guarded?" i asked worriedly. "He's at his favourite place- the cabaret club. And yes, I'm being guarded safely. The Shinsengumi are right outside the building" he smiled. "Ah, i see" i nodded in understanding before looking around. My eyes fell on the twins who were trying to sneak out of the building behind my back. They waved at me and mouthed 'good luck!' before going out. I sighed internally before looking at the Shogun. "Let's enjoy together, shall we?"
"Heard you're helping the Shogun to have a good time?" "Hanae?!" Gintoki gasped seeing me walk over to them. "You- your clothes- why- how- where's the Shogun?!" "What about my clothes?" i glared at him "And i was here initially to have fun with the twins but they left without me. And Shogun-sama should be there in the-" i looked at the disinfection area to see him soaking his private part only. Why there?! "Ahem, look at me" Gintoki held my shoulders "I need your help. Matsudaira said his identity can't be revealed so we 3" he pointed at me, him and Hasegawa-san "have to keep it a secret and make sure he have fun" "Yeah, you can do that by yourself" i said about to turn around but he pulled me close. "That two piece you're wearing is very tempting. Don't make me do something in public" he whispered in my ear before i felt his lips on the neck. "Jeez!" i pushed him away feeling the shock in my body "I-I would have helped anyway. I did tell him that i would accompany him" brushing off the goosebumps in my body i looked at the pool ahead of me. "They are.. " "Yeah, the idiots of Edo are all on vacation at the same time. This is the Bermuda Triangle of Idiots!"
"They seem to be enjoying themselves. I would like to join them" Shogun said looking at the group. Sending the Shogun there would be like sending a naked man among the sharks! "T-Take care of him. I'll go warn the group" saying that Gintoki swam towards them. "What do we do, Hanae?" Hasegawa-san asked. "Well for now give the Shogun a cap and googles so that they don't recognize him" i whispered before standing beside the Shogun. "Shogun-sama, the-" "I told you to call me just Sho-chan, remember?" he smiled. "A-Ah, yes. Sho-chan, don't worry. You'll be soon able to join them. Gintoki has gone to tell them about you, of course not your identity" i said. He nodded to which i sighed in relief. Alright, hopefully things will go alright now i smiled to myself before-
"She's right. The tip is a little moist" my ears perked up to Otae's words. The group was looking at Shogun, well not at him but his member causing my eyes to go down there as well. Oh God. "Excuse me, could you turn around?" Otae asked Shogun. He's shivering in embarrassment! "Hasegawa-san, hurry and get him a new pair of pants now!" i pushed them two together before looking at Gintoki. What are you doing?! i glared at him. It's not my fault his tip was wet! Maybe it was because he saw you like this! Cover yourself, woman! he glared back. It wasn't long until the Shogun came back. A-Areh? Why did he wear Hasegawa-san's trunks? And why is he posing?!
Me and Hasegawa-san went towards the group with Shogun on the floaty. "Let's introduce him again.. this is Sho-chan. Everyone, be nice to him" i said. "Um, don't let him get off the boat" "Make sure he doesn't touch the water, Hanae-san" Otae's and Kagura's harsh words made me look at Gintoki. Is this alright?! The Shogun wants to be friends but they won't even let him in the water! He hasn't even touched the water and his goggles are soaked! This is bad! We're dead! They'll cut off our heads! Gintoki freaked out. Wait, Matsudaira didn't say anything to me. So, I'm safe! i let out a relived sigh. Well, I'm not! he glared at me.
