August 1994

Remus and Sirius watched from the loveseat as Masondrit paced the front room of The Burrow. Molly Weasley was furiously cleaning every nook and cranny of her home in an effort to keep herself busy. The two men had already been privy to the sight of the women hastily cooking a four course breakfast, in their efforts to keep their mind off the previous night's happenings.

Mason lashed at the two men sitting with the appearance of all the calm in the world.

"I knew I have should have gone and fetched them! What if somethings happened to them?!"

Remus sighed as he leaned forward in an effort to calm the frantic woman.
"Mason, we would know if any-"

"Well we don't know do we!?" She shouted "Not a single word from any of them! They could be injured! They could be dead for all we know!"

"Blueberry you need to-"

"DONT YOU TELL ME TO CALM DOWN SIRIUS ORION BLACK!"

Remus watched as Sirius put his hands up and looked at him as if to say 'you're on your own'.

Remus sighed before trying again.
"Mason the children will be alright, they'll be back soon. You'll see."

The blue haired woman stopped her frantic pacing and allowed her anxiety to deflate her posture into something much more subdued.

"I'm sorry, I'm just worried.... they should have been back by now."

Remus stood from his spot on the loveseat, and opened his arms in an offer of an embrace, the anxious woman accepted.

Their quiet moment was interrupted by the sound of voices outside.

The three friends stared wide eyed at each other for only a moment, before they each hastily took off for the front door.

Mason practically shoved Remus to the floor, and Sirius quickly jumped over the back of the loveseat in their efforts.

Remus rolled his eyes as he steadied himself and calmly made his way behind them.

He took in the amusing scene before him as he exited the front door.

Molly was practically sobbing to the twins, while they looked on in shock at the blue haired woman.

Speaking of.

Mason had Harry in the tightest embrace known to man as she babbled at him incessantly.

"Oh Helga! I thought something terrible happened to you lot are you all alright how was the game before all the madness of course oh I'm so glad you're alright I've been so worried I'm so glad you're ok how are you feeling you're not hurt are you do you need anything I can make you some tea oh but maybe you prefer hot chocolate are you hungry you must be starving-"
