98. Meteor shower

I hope you guys liked the last chapter and Tsuki permanently marking Yams I was actually really proud of it lol. Anyway let's get started with this adorable chapter🖤🖤

Kageyama and Hinata were in class. Both of them were struggling with a math problem when they heard a few students talking.

"Are you going to watch the meteor shower tonight?" One of them asked.

Hinata poked his head up from the math problem. Kageyama watched his eyes light up slightly.

"I've never seen a meteor shower." He said somewhat of excited.

The teacher turned and gave everyone a look making them got back to their work. Kageyama sat there thinking, it had been a while since he had seen a meteor shower too.
The last time he had seen one was when he was little with his Grandpa.

After school they headed to practice. Hinata seemed to be his same happy energetic self while Kageyama seemed to be a bit off like he was lost in his thoughts. Even though his sets were still perfect. Hinata took notice to his seemingly distant behavior.

"Want to stay after practice?" Hinata asked as practice ended.

Kageyama shook his head.

"No we should get home." He said taking Hinata a bit by surprise.

After they got home Kageyama and Hinata went up to their room. Hinata went into the bathroom to take a shower. While he was I there Kageyama got a backpack out of the closet along with a blanket and a few pillows. He put the blankets and pillows into the backpack, then he headed downstairs. He went to the kitchen and grabbed a few cartons of milk and a couple bottles of soda from the fridge and put them into the backpack.

Suga and Daichi came In to the kitchen and saw the backpack sitting on the counter and Kageyama staring blankly in the fridge.

"Are you running away?" Suga asked while cocking his eyebrow. "You won't get far with only milk and soda."  Him and Daichi both laughed a little before taking a seat at the counter.

"No, There's a meteor shower tonight and Hinata got really excited when he heard about it. Since he's never seen One before, I was going to take him to the park to watch it." Kageyama said while looking both proud of his idea and a bit uncertain.

"Is the king really a hopeless romantic?" Tsuki said as he and Yamaguchi came into the kitchen.

"Shut up." Kageyama slightly growled.

Suga laughed.

"Your going to need some food to take." He said.

Kageyama nodded and then looked at the fridge a bit lost as to what to take.

Daichi and Suga looked at each other realizing that Kageyama had no idea what to take.

"Go upstairs and take a shower Suga and I will make you two a couple sandwiches." Daichi said.

"I'll help." Yamaguchi said.

Tsuki scoffed a bit and rolled his eyes.

"You should take some strawberries he said."

Yamaguchi turned and smiled at him.

"Or do you just want an excuse to get strawberries out and make a short cake." He joked.
