Hinata was was asleep with his head on Kageyama's chest. Kageyama was watching whatever was on the tv.

"Kageyama." Hinata mumbled against Kageyama'a chest.

"What?"

"I'm hungry." Hinata said.

"Do you want some more soup?" Kageyama asked.

"Can we go get Meat Buns?" Hinata asked.

"Dumbass your sick. Your not going out."

"Please I feel better."

Kageyama sighed exasperatedly and felt Hinata's forehead.
"You still have a little fever."

"Please?" Hinata said with a whine in his voice

making Kageyama tense up a bit.
"I can go get us some." He said.

"But I want to go too." Hinata said burrowing his head into Kageyama's chest.

"No." Kageyama said sounding a bit strict.

Hinata slightly whimpered at the sound in his voice.
Kageyama felt Hinata shiver a bit.

"Are you cold?" He asked Hinata nodded.

Kageyama stood up scooping Hinata up into his arms and carried him bridal style to his room.

He laid him on his bed and laid behind him and fell asleep.

The next morning Kageyama woke up Hinata wasn't next to him. He immediately panicked and jumped out of the bed.

He found Hinata curled up on the couch wearing his hoodie.

Kageyama stared at him confused before leaning down and shaking him awake.

"Kageyama?" Hinata said confused when he realized he was on the couch and not his bed.
"Why am I on the couch?"

"I don't know dumbass ! You scared me." Kageyama said sitting next to him.

"Why were you scared ?" Hinata asked as he sat up crawling into Kageyama's lap.

"Because... I'm afraid."

"Your afraid?" Hinata asked genuinely confused.

Kageyama nodded.
"I want to be a good Alpha... I want to protect you. If I can't then... you'll leave me for a better-" Kageyama felt Hinata smack him in the back of the head.

"Idiot, I don't want a better alpha ! I want you!"

Suddenly Hinata found himself on his back being pinned down. A low growl coming from Kageyama.

Hinata smirked.
"What are you gonna do,Alpha?" 

He saw Kageyama's eyes dilate.

"Hinata... did your heat just start?" Kageyama Suddenly realized that Hinata's scent had gotten sweeter.

Hinata blushed a little.
"N-no... I just got turned on a little...it would be a bad idea to trigger my heat since I just had a fever."

Kageyama got off of Him his heart racing a bit.

"So... is the reason your worried about being a good alpha because of what happened with your old team?"  Hinata asked a bit nervously.

Kageyama looked at him a little shocked.
"How'd... you find out about that?" Kageyama asked.
