109. Jealousy

Kageyama and Hinata had gone outside and were walking towards the volleyball court.
Both of them were quiet. Hinata was trailing somewhat behind Kageyama, trying to figure out why he was acting the way he was. Finally, he broke the silence.

"Why are you acting like this?" He asked.

Kageyama stopped walking and turned to face him. Hinata didn't like the look he had; he still looked angry. Hinata stepped back a bit defensively.

This action took Kageyama by surprise; he hadn't meant to seem that upset still.

"I don't know, " Kageyama answered as he reached towards Hinata and grabbed him by the hand. He pulled him close into a hug.

Hinata hugged back, nuzzling his face into his chest.

"You don't need to be jealous, " he said.

Kageyama sighed.
"I'm not," he retorted.

Hinata lightly laughed.

"Sure, " he said.

Kageyama grumbled at Hinata's sarcasm.
Kageyama still wasn't sure what it was that was making him feel this way. However, he knew it wasn't just him that had a bit of irritation when it came to seeing how well the other team played.

"Do you want to practice since we're out here?" Kageyama asked, realizing that they had instinctively made their way to the court.

Hinata broke away from the hug and excitedly nodded.  Kageyama went and grabbed a ball.
They began to toss the ball back and forth to each other. They continued to do that and Talk about the tournament for thirty minutes before they heard the sound of Suga's voice.

"Should have known the two of you would end up practicing. Coach Ukai wants you two to come in now... That is if Kageyama is done being overly protective." Suga said.

"Sorry, " Kageyama said; he was somewhat embarrassed at his behavior.

They followed Suga into the house and back into the living room. Once they settled back down onto the couch, Takeda began to speak.

"So I know we went through some of the rules and regulations for the tournament, but there is more. As I said before, we'll have to stay together at all times, and We will need to get more scent masking patches. Besides those things, we also have been asked to make sure that no Omega's are in or close to being in heat. We are going to be staying in a hotel for about four days. This means we'll have to have suppressant's on us."

Suddenly all the Alpha's looked like they were uncomfortable with the whole situation.

"Is it really going to be that dangerous for Omega's there?" Daichi asked, realizing how many safety perceptions were in place.

"It's not that it's dangerous; it's that there will be a lot of Alpha's that are not paired. Even if our Omega's are all either temporary or permanently marked, there is a chance that there could be an Alpha like Isao that just wants to cause trouble." Takeda Explained.

Both Hinata and Kageyama became tense at the sound of Isao's name.

Later that night, Suga decided that since Natsu was still there, the best place for her to sleep would be the Omega den.
