"Give me any of your smart ideas Ryeong, hit me with all of them," Hyunjin ordered, of course after prepping and pulling up a stance like he's some sort of football goalie.
Chaeryeong cringed at Hyunjin and face palmed. "Any of what I will say will not matter since we don't even know where Yeji is," she said sighing right after.
Hyunjin then fell backwards, sitting on the ground and groaning. "How in the blue blazing are we gonna find that girl."
"I don't know really, if Ryujin ... was here we would've found where Yeji is by now," Chaeryeong simply replied.
They both sighed. No idea ran across their mind to ever let them find Yeji. It would've been great if the place Yeji ran off to is a small place, but New York isn't really something you would call small place.
It'd had been a day since their discovery and no further brainstorming ever helped them to get in contact with Yeji. Heck for all they know Yeji might have already left New York to escape the shithole they put her on.
They even contacted a fellow angel, which happens to sound like a demon, Felix. But even with his help they still couldn't get any clues of where Yeji is.
So they just took a break and have a little rest, but in addition to their further agony. Jisu started to grow suspicious of Ryujin and Yeji's disappearance prior to the incident which occured a day ago.
In order to counter the suspicions, Chaeryeong and Hyunjin had to do something that they wouldn't of thought of doing. That is lying.
"Why did we have to come to a fast conclusion then," Chaeryeong whined, further sinking into the couch and hugging a pillow.
"Yeah, that's my bad right there. I let my emotions get the best of me."
"You know what? Maybe you should dress up as a woman and we can just go up back home."
Hyunjin looked at Chaeryeong with the most uninterested expression he had and then glared at her. "You really think I look like Yeji? And do you really think they would fall for that trick?"
"First of, yes you do look like Yeji and second, it's worth a try right?" Chaeryeong shrugged and looked at Hyunjin, only for the guy to face palm.
"That's a dumb idea— oh, hey Yuna!" Hyunjin replied to the girl, who completely sunk into the sofa and then greeted the tall girl, as the door suddenly swung open, averting his attention away from Chaeryeong.
"Hey Hyunjin and Chaeryeong, where's Jisu?"
"She's still working, the girl is really dedicated with her job this time," Hyunjin replied.
"Uhm, ugh ... how 'bout Ryujin? Has she come up yet?" Yuna asked, startling the two angels.
Hyunjin and Chaeryeong exchanged looks.
Hyunjin managed to relay at least a whole sentence towards Chaeryeong with just him looking towards her and creating eye contact.
Chaeryeong, of course got the message and immediately deviced another lie ... well, excuse for them to skip the part where Ryujin had actually died.
"Oh, ugh ... she uhm, well," Chaeryeong stuttered for a bit, causing her to create a fake cough and looking up at Yuna once again. "She, uhh ... had some important matters outside New York and had to leave the city, yeah," she said, voicing her excuse.
"Oh, is that so?" Yuna muttered, fidgeting with her hands for a moment and then looking back up to meet Chaeryeong's gaze. "Well, I'll be going to our room now see y'all later," she said, as she speed walk her way out of the living room.
