"So Lucifer beat me to it huh?" Karina chimed in, breaking the cat-eyed girls' concentration.
Yeji rose her head and looked at Karina. "Yep he did," she said as she signed one of the papers on her desk, "and he said he'll be here once you've arrived here and yet he's still not here." She continued her words as she then took one more paper and signed it.
"The seven deadly sins have been set free Yeji, and we don't know who set the—."
Yeji's eyes sparked up with a glow of red, as a dark smoke emitted out of it. "I know who set them free Karina, which is why we need to go back to pay her a visit," a smile filled with malicious intent, arched up from the cat-eyed girls' face which was then a calm and expressionless one.
Karina shook her head, shocked by Yeji's statement all at the same time she kept in check of her surrounding, as Yeji's devil traits started to appear. "Wait wait wait, we?"
"Yes we, I'm the lord of the underworld. It only makes sense for me to return there and resolve the problem."
"Yeji didn't you return here just to spend time with your girlfriend?"
With that one question, the mischievous smile on her face faded away, being replaced by a worried one.
"I did, but..." the cat-eyed girl halted mid sentence, zoning out for a moment and just stared at her hand. "Me staying here would mean absolutely nothing if demons rose up here and cause some havoc."
"But I suppose you also feel a much darker presence, even darker than the seven capital sins right?"
Karina asked, to which the cat-eyed girl merely nodded in response.
A heavy distortion in the surrounding can be felt by the two unholy beings. Their stomach feeling all sorts of problem, both knew that a much bigger problem is looming deep down the depths of hell, but can't fully sense nor can they comprehend the identity of the said anonymous being.
Yeji being the lord of the underworld should be enough to determine who this being is, she does possess the ability to track a certain holy or unholy being with pin point accuracy, all at the same time she is able to determine who this being is.
But this being is something she couldn't determine. A bubbling vile sensation surge in her conscience, one that made her go lightheaded.
This being is ancient, one that existed long before she existed.

"Yuna please tell me what's wrong," Jisu passed a worried question towards her tall junior, who have been pacing back and forth on their living room. Mumbling something that is quiet inaudible for the brunette.
But instead of listening to Jisu, Yuna kept her attention isolated away from the brunette and dove even deeper on her thoughts, proceeding with her unrelenting paces across the room.
Although Yuna showed signs of distress. Her mental state is well already back to its normal state, she's not bothered anymore with the fact that she nearly got attack and possibly be possessed by a demon, she's also not bothered with the idea of Ryujin being an angel.
Yuna instead, is more shocked than bothered. Shocked at the fact that she has been fascinated on someone who is a literal angel.
All the times she spoke to her school friends, stating that Ryujin was an absolute beauty and had such an angelic aesthetic. Who would've thought that her figurative description towards the dark-hairhed girl would turn out to be true.
She kept on walking back and forth, but soon hit a dead end, as she felt the hands of the brunette tightly grip her shoulders, causing her to snap out of her deep thoughts.
"Yuna? Is there something wrong? You have to communicate with me," Jisu asked her junior, a visible frown and arched eye brows plastered on her face.
Glaring signs of concern flashed towards Yuna as she noticed the brunettes expression.
"I-I..." Yuna hesitated for a moment, trying to process what she's about to expose to her best friend. She believes Jisu would freak out about the sudden revelation, but unbeknownst to her. Jisu had already been exposed to who and what Ryujin truly is.
"Y-you might not believe me Jisu, b-but..."
Jisu squints her eyes in anticipation for what the taller girl is about to state.
"R-Ryujin i-is not like us," Yuna revealed, as she immediately made eye contact with the brunette, expecting a shocked expression.
But instead Jisu merely blinked her eyes multiple times and shook her head.
"H-how did you find out about that?"
"H-how did I find— she told me..." she replied, but immediately bolted her gaze back to the brunette and once again made eye contact. "How? What do you mean how?"
"I-I was just asking Yuna, how are feeling right no—"
Yuna stepped away from her best friend. "So you knew too?"
Jisu took one step closer to Yuna, but the taller girl simply took another step back and put her hands up and stood her ground.
Jisu closed her eyes and sighed, preparing to explain everything to Yuna. "Yuna I do, but you must understand that the reason why we never revealed it to you was to protect you."
"Protect me?" Yuna chuckled. "Jisu I was tricked and got chased by a demon, all the while I nearly toasted my own sanity, and you're telling me that all of you did all that to protect me only for me to experience that?"
Jisu stood frozen and completely speechless.
"How about Chaeryeong? Yeji and her brother? Don't tell me they're also not like us?"
"C-Chaeryeong and Hyunjin are also angels," Jisu simply replied.
"And Yeji?"
Jisu stayed silent for a moment, but chose to reveal Yeji's identity as she took a deep breath and looked at her junior. "Y-yeji i-is the d-devil."
Yuna's eyes grew big as as she then scoffed. "S-she's the devil?" Yuna chuckled, but soon turned into a blank expression. "I-I need to go for now."
"Go? To where? Where would you sleep tonight Yuna?"
"I'll stay at Wonyoung's for now, I-I just need some time to process all this information..." Yuna replied, immediately turning her back from her best friend and headed out of their room.
Leaving Jisu completely frozen in the middle of the living room, completely speechless and unable to come up a way to resolve the situation.
But outside their window and leaning against a wall. Unbeknownst to the two best friends who had recently went on an argument.
A tall figure stood in listening in on their conversation.
This man shooked his head and sighed. "That argument reminds me of when Ms. Lopez found out about my true identity," he spoke to himself as he then looked up and chuckled. "Where's Dr. Linda when you need her?"
