Chapter 36

"Like holy crap she's actually back, like that's crazy," Jisu blabbered, as she march back in forth in the middle of their living room.

"Who's back exactly?" Yuna lowered her notes down and looked at the over distressing brunette.

"Yeji! Yeji is back!" Jisu exclaimed.

"Really? I-is Ryujin back too— I mean a-are the others back too?"

Jisu raised an eyebrow, finding Yuna's words sort of suspicious, but she took it as the younger girl missing the others. "Well, Yeji is the only one back though. I don't know about the others."

Yuna pouted and slumped down, reverting her attention back to her notes. "It's still good though, Yeji is back and so is your chance of being in a relationship."

Jisu then stomped her feet which created a loud thud, pouting and crossing her arms. "Hey! I wasn't that hopeless okay."

"Sure you weren't alright, everyone that has hit on you for the past years, you denied all of them. Yeji so far is the only person who has entered your heart and I'm quoting you on this, the only person who has tried to kiss you."

"Okay, maybe you're right on that one—" Jisu halted from her words, as a strong gust of wind blew right passed their window. Blowing and swaying up their curtains.

In the same response, Yuna averted all her attention towards the window and ran towards it to close it shut, which she did.

Suddenly, a knock from there door volumes across their room, which caused the two to exchange looks and both at the same time looked at the door.

Slowly, Jisu tiptoed her way towards the door. Taking up a longer time to get there, long enough for who ever was behind the other side to knock at the door three more times.

Eventually she made it in front of the door, where she heaved a prolonged inhale and exhale as her hand stayed positioned at the cold door knob handle. After bracing herself, only then did she opened the door.

But as soon as she the door opened, her mouth dropped in shock. As it revealed another person– angel that she hasn't seen in two years.

"Hello Jisu, it's been a long time hasn't it?"

Distant muffled honking from vehicles blared passed through the cat-eyed girls' enclosed office, as she stood at her balcony with her hands comfortably tucked into her pockets. Overlooking different variety of glimmering lights on the horizon.

The sun has lowered down and retreated back its majestic shine and has been replaced by a half shaped moon, with darkness engulfing the streets below her.

Yeji closed her eyes, taking a long and deep inhale, huffing it out with an airy blow.

Suddenly the sound of her door creaking as it opened grabbed her attention, causing her to cut her sightseeing of the city and divert her attention out behind her.

"Here's your coffee Yeji," Minju said, as she slowly made her way towards the cat-eyed girls' desk.

Yeji walked back inside her office, pulling her swivel chair backwards and giving space for her to lower herself to a rest.

"Thank you Minju," Yeji thanked and took the cup of coffee from majestic looking demon.

With the warmth of the cup transferring into the cat-eyed girls' hands. Yeji stared blankly at the top of the coffee, watching as steam slowly floats and gets blown away by the wind.
