The two devil's marched along the marble white tile patterned floor of the establishment, their footsteps growing louder, generating a clonking sound as it echoed across the corridors. Notifying those who are near their vicinity.
Hearing the faint footsteps behind the corners, every staff present on their current path promptly averted their attention towards them, shifting their position in line to where the two ladies were moving along, greeting not only their boss but also the secretary itself.
Yeji sighed, inserting her hands inside her pockets. "You and those pesky demons ruined my day," she complained, following it up with an irritated groan.
"I called them up a few days ago, but both demons arrived without any notice, plus it seemed that they may be the two demons you've wanted to meet, I have no choice but to cut your free time with Ms. Choi short," Minju implied, promptly stopping in front a frosted glass door.
It didn't take much for Yeji to intake all the information given by Minju. She hated the fact that some lowly demons have decided to slip through the deep crevasses of the underworld, but if it means those demons were to pass on important messages to her- it wouldn't be a bother for her to cut her free time with Jisu short.
But upon hearing what Minju had just said. A realization hit her, that the demons that are inside this room aren't messengers, but none other than the demons she's been looking for.
A smirk immediately rose up on the cat-eyed girls' face, her gaze and whole demeanor changing as what seemed to be an ominous and heavy pressure surged around Yeji's current position.
A dark blanket of aura soon surrounded the cat-eyed girl, invisible to a normal human being's eyes but clear and visible to a demon and an angel's eyes.
In a split second, her hand hovered above the door knob, grabbing it and gripping onto it with such overwhelming strength, bending the lever-styled door knob, as soon the strength of her grip transfered onto the whole door frame, vibrating it including the wall.
Minju watched the whole scene unfold, in any scenario she'd usually let Yeji do whatever she wants.
But knowing Yeji's current status, being the new Lord of the Underworld, if she were to go back shit crazy and release some sort of pent up anger that she has boiling up inside her here on Earth.
That would mean Yeji would trigger something catastrophic.
Without any hesitation, Minju immediately grabbed onto the cat-eyed girls' shoulder and lightly shook her. "Calm down Yeji, don't let your emotions consume you. You can't trigger the rupture."
From what it once was a smirk, now a fully formed grin which emitted such menacing aura. Her mind being filled with malicious intent, Yeji glances towards Minju. "I'll handle my business now," she said, as she warped out of thin air, leaving behind her a black smoke.
Yeji's sudden departure left Minju dumbfounded, making her sigh in defeat. There's not much she could do other than just wait until Yeji's business is over.
But that murderous grin that was plastered onto the cat-eyed girls' face, it unsettled Minju, solely because she'd already seen it in the past.
That—after all—wasn't the first time Yeji flashed that murderous grin of her, in fact Yeji flashed that same grin when she proceeded to obliterate two million demons in hell. She also had the same grin plastered on her face at times where she enters a particular tainted soul's torturing chamber down in hell, most of which she participated in tormenting the unfortunate soul herself.
From an angel who used to smile in celebration to someone's success, to a devil that smiles in enjoyment over someones misfortune to feed her sadistic desire.
