Silence reigned on, proceeding to engulf the two individuals, although distant noises echoed around them, it's as if a massive sphere surrounded them not allowing outside noises to pass through and break their moment. They continued looking at one another, not either one of them having any decisions on breaking eye contact.
Few moments passed and a swift gust of chilling breeze passed through Yuna causing her to snap her gaze away from the angel currently positioned beside her. She hugged her figure, shielding her exposed skin from the cold as her eyes once again wondered off to the distance. Her mind diving back deep into her own thoughts, questions flew by her mind but never formulated into words.
Questions that she wanted to ask the angel, but was reluctant to initiate a conversation. It's not that she feared Ryujin's presence, she's just absolutely taken a back by the sudden revelation of Ryujin's identity that it intimidated her. For long times that she have come to know Ryujin due to her affiliation with Jisu, she casually addressed Ryujin, even jokingly swore at her from time to time.
Never have she thought that the Ryujin that she have casually conversed with way back two years ago would turn out to be a benevolent being.
"I heard you and Jisu had a little argument a day ago," Ryujin broke the total silence between them, initiating a conversation first.
It didn't take long for the tall girl to decipher where Ryujin got the information and responded to her. "I suppose you got that news from Jisu herself right?"
Ryujin smiled for a split second, having her cover blown due to Yuna's intuitiveness. "I guess I might as well come clean," she said, as she shifted her position from a tensed stature to a much calmer one.
"For an angel, boy you sure are nosey," the tall girl cracked a joke, which in turn made Ryujin chuckle.
"It's not that I'm nosey," Ryujin stated, "I'm sure you're well aware of who and what I truly am, regardless of whether I asked Jisu or not. I would still be able to know just by your emotions."
Yuna nodded in agreement. "Right, you're an angel..."
Ryujin took a deep breath, as she shifted her attention towards the tall girl. "Yuna I know you're shocked but—"
"I'm more than shocked Ryujin," Yuna answered back, cutting Ryujin between her words. "I don't even know what's real or what's fiction."
"I understand Yuna, I'm truly sorry for putting you up to such turmoil."
"I thought about it this few days I wasn't around Jisu," the tall girl responded, as she shifted her position to a much comfortable one. "I feel like I may be able to handle it. Although I do need time to better adapt to our new situation."
Confused by Yuna's words, Ryujin furrowed her eyebrows and sparked up a question. "New situation? What do you mean by that?"
"See as you're an angel, the way I act and talk to you might need a little adjustment."
"Ugh why? Like can't you just act normally?"
Yuna ran her hand through her hair and looked at Ryujin. "I mean I can, but what if you get offended and then cast me to hell or something."
Ryujin flashed Yuna an unimpressed look, as she then placed her arms on her hips. "How exactly am I gonna do that?"
"I don't know, smite me or something," the tall girl shrugged.
Ryujin couldn't help but just chuckle at the taller girls' sudden comedic quips. Despite the seriousness in their conversation, Yuna's comedic side still finds its way to seep right through their serious conversation.
