Chapter 43

Two days have passed since her last meeting with Yeji, the day where she was left alone in her girlfriend's office completely alone with nothing to do. Although Yeji did return eventually to accompany her, it was only for a few minutes though. As Yeji eventually kissed her goodbye to get back to her meeting.

That day went on per usual with her along with Shuhua just doing their obligated daily quota's. One thing that she got out of that day, other than finally-well kind of-hooking up with Yeji, was that Minju gave them time to take a break in the weekends. Which was apparently a gift from their boss after their hectic schedules.

As it should, Jisu immediately took the time to rest at home, although they were given a break they were still told not to over eat or even consume food that could make them go over their calorie limit everyday. Which was a bummer for Jisu since she's been craving for some delicious food and good munching.

But nonetheless a break is a break. Rather than complain about it, she just accepted her much needed rest.

So the past day and including her time right now. Jisu had been slouching it out on the couch and sometimes in bed, letting her inner sloth come out.

All this modeling stuff drained Jisu physically. The constant need to exercise almost everyday, just so that they can stay in shape, learning to pose in front of the camera, and of course the limitation of food consumption. It's practically torture, but it's her job after all so she has no choice but to keep doing what she's obligated to do.

And she hasn't even gotten her first photoshoot yet since she and Shuhua have yet to finish their training to become legitimate models.

Speaking of Shuhua.

Jisu was supposed to hang out with Shuhua. They've preplanned everything they were suppose to do, but disaster struck when Shuhua's girlfriend- Soojin, was wrongly accused of tampering with files in her job causing her to be fired. So Shuhua had to accompany Soojin to find her a new job.

Which left Jisu just stay at her apartment to laze around the place trying to find things that could potentially amuse her. She also can't go out since she's financially not stable once again.

Yeji could've been a good escape goat for her boredom, but apparently she was busy with some sort of meetings.

With nothing much to do, Jisu groggily walked over to the sofa and gently collapsed herself into the soft embrace of the cushion. "Aghhh," she lets out a groan as her body proceeds to sink into the sofa. "I'm so tired," she continued.

"Want me to make you a sandwich?" Yuna said, barging into the living room with a sandwich in hand.

Jisu turned her head and looked at her bubbly friend. "I'm on a diet remember?"

"Oh, sucks for you then. This sandwich is the bomb," the tall girl said as she proceeds to stuff her mouth full with her sandwich.

"You gotta limit your eating Yuna or else you'll go fat."

"I won't worry about that now, what's important is that this sandwich gets to enter my stomach."

Jisu smiled at the dorkiness of her junior, which soon turned into a serious expression as she is reminded about something Yuna had mention a day ago. "Hey, you said that Ryujin was here the other day, so was she really here?"

"She was. But..." Yuna stopped speaking, eventually growing silent with memories of Ryujin suddenly appearing out of nowhere flashing right into her mind.

"But? But what?"

Yuna raised her attention and locked eyes with Jisu. "It's almost as if she warped or something, like she suddenly appeared in front of me."
