Current day 2020

The sun rose high up in the blue colored open sky, presenting it's scorching heat and radiating the busy streets of New York. The skin burning heat of the sun is already a big problem for pedestrians, now adding more to it are the insurmountable crowds of people criss crossing along the streets. Making any breathing room space less of an option.

Jisu had gone out to do her daily routine of agonizing herself everyday just to look for a fitting job for herself. That's not even the height of how miserable her life is going— well, how it's going right now. She had just recently moved in New York not a month ago, looking to start a decent life now that she had left her parents care. A decent life clearly wasn't what welcomed her as soon as she stepped foot on her apartment.

Not even a month into living in New York and she's already gassed, exhausted and basically drained. Life in the city overwhelmed Jisu, she may have been a little too excited from the idea of living on her own. Plus her ambitions were too high that she practically made a decision to leave her parents house even before she even thought of how her life would turn out.

Living on her own also didn't last long. When someone moved in with her oh her flat, which happen to have an extra room.

That person who moved in was Shin Yuna, not the typical teenager— well maybe she is the typical teenager. Always on her phone and basically carefree all the time, one great commendable attributes from her though is that she's responsible enough to clean for herself, which made Jisu less stressed and worried about doing all the cleaning in the apartment.

Now this brings us back to Jisu. Who have just arrived to a rather smaller place than what she had expected. When she read on her email that she had an offer to be a dancer, she envisioned it to be a huge venue where she'd do all her dancing.

She definitely didn't expect a nearly similar to a convenient store space for a place to dance on. It is big enough, but it seemed skeptical. Now that she thought about it, it does kinda seemed to good to be true. She didn't even do any auditions and somehow she got it.

Slowly, Jisu entered the peculiar looking building and walked in a slow pace surveying the surroundings. As she made it into the lobby, a tall bald man ordered her to sit and wait for the boss of the place. In which she obliged, the place did not a ring a bell, nor did the place look familiar to her. She had never seen a place like this before and it's also quite dark. So looking around is kind of hard especially if there were nothing to illuminate the distance.

Suddenly another tall man wearing a dapper looking suit came walking in.

Showing politeness, Jisu then stood up and bowed and offered her hand to the man. To which the man accepted, shaking the smaller girls' hand.

"You must be Choi Jisu," the man asked, with Jisu nodding in confirmation that she is indeed the person that the man had just mentioned.

Jisu normally isn't like this, but the man's gaze is rather odd. It gave her creeps just from the way the man looked at her, it's as if she was being undressed with the way the man gazed up and down her figure, which made her absolutely uncomfortable.

"You're in!" The man exclaimed, informing Jisu that she had been accepted as a supposed dancer.

Normally Jisu would've been overjoyed after landing a job, but this one is too good to be true.

"Uhm, really Sir?" Jisu said, asking for a little more of a clarification.

"Yup! That's all," the man stopped for a second, excusing himself and walking back inside the curtains, then returning shortly after with Jisu's supposed outfit in his hands.
