The way that both woman acted after what had just occured, unfolded in such a comedic sight.
Jisu stood still, frozen and still afloat from what happened.
While Yeji looked like a person who's world is crumbling apart. Slumped down and covering her face.
All she intended to do was to confirm her emotions towards Jisu.
She never intended to actually be in love with Jisu.
She was even confident that what she felt for Jisu wasn't love, because she thought that it's impossible since her emotions towards Jisu is similar to what she felt for Yiren.
But now she understands why it's now different. Because clearly now that she fully identified her feelings for Jisu.
It also meant that the reason why her emotions for Yiren was slightly different was because it might just be another emotion that she might have not know or just forgotten, or maybe something else?
Yeji sighed in annoyance, clearly annoyed and irritated from the revelation that had unfolded. After taking a second to compose herself, she then stood up motioning herself towards to her left with the intention of exiting the place. But just as she was about to walk away. A hand then held her wrist making stop on her tracks.
"W-wait.. uhmm, w-where are you going?" Jisu asked Yeji who just stood there staring at her hand.
Yeji's silence caught Jisu's attention making her search for the reason as to why the cat eyed girl suddenly went mute. But as soon she realized the reason, almost immediately she then awkwardly pulled her arm back. Releasing her grip on Yeji's wrist.
"S-sorry," Jisu apologized.
The freezing atmosphere between them could rival that of Siberia's snow storms. As the awkward tension between them started to eat them whole.
Jisu kept fidgeting, constantly moving her eyes around. Looking at everything in the corridor except the cat eyed girl in front of her. All the while Yeji just did the same as Jisu, but the difference was she just kept adjusting her clothes for no reason.
"H-how have been Yeji?" Jisu initiated stuttering as she began her sentence, clearly still awkward after what had just happened.
Yeji then raised her head glancing at Jisu, only for her to make direct eye contact. Making her revert her attention back at her side. "I'm, ugh.. ehem— doing fine."
"R-right."
Just like that, they're back to square one. They were completely fine before the stunt Yeji pulled of. Yeji started to consciously curse herself out, she clearly didn't think her actions through and those were all done because she wanted to confirm something. Now they're paying the price through total awkwardness.
"I have to go—"
"Do you want to go in for a moment—"
They both said at the same time. Which made the both of them awkwardly stare at each other for a moment and further thickening the awkwardness between them.
"I-I mean.. uhmm, d-do you want to go in and have coffee? I-I mean like this is your place, so..."
Yeji smiled finding the way Jisu is acting adorable. "No, I'm sorry I can't."
"W-why?"
"Reasons that you don't need to know."
Jisu formed her mouth in an 'o' shape and slowly nodded. Looking away from Yeji and started playing with sweater.
But in between her mindlessly playing with her sweater. The realization then hit Jisu. She just invited Yeji for coffee. Plus the fact that both Chaeryeong and Hyunjin aren't around and with Yuna already asleep.
It just made her mind go to a different route and make a scenario that she never thought she'd imagine.
'clean your mind Jisu, what is wrong with you!' she consciously scolded herself.
"Uhm, if y-you're going then should I inform Chaeryeong and Hyunjin that you passed by he—"
"NO— I-I mean, no. Don't inform them."
Jisu nodded and slowly glanced at Yeji. With there conversation coming to its end, the awkward atmosphere between them came crawling back to terrorize them.
All the while Yeji just stood in front of the person she had no plans of falling in love with, while swaying her body side to side.
Just as she swayed side to side, her eyes wondered up, making Jisu come into full view. Everything around her— albeit a bit cliche, started to slow down. When she arrived here to confirm her feelings and emotions, she never really took a moment to admire Jisu.
She didn't buy a single second to look at Jisu properly, she basically just pulled her out of her own place and tried to...
But now that she got the chance to do so. Even though she knows actual angels, she couldn't believe her eyes upon laying an eye at her. Her beauty was beyond any mortals, the way the oversized hoodie hugged Jisu's small figure. Made her so adorable.
She never looked at Jisu liked this before. 'Is this because I'm in love with her?' she thought to herself.
Yeji can't help but stare at Jisu. Everything about Jisu is nothing but perfection.
Further running her eyes up and down Jisu, Yeji then noticed a feature that she familiarly suggested to the latter on implementing to herself.
A smile then formed on the cat eyed girls' face. Jisu actually remembered what she told her.
"Jisu," she called out to the brunette.
Jisu immediately looked up and is welcomed by Yeji with a warm smile. "Y-yes?"
"You actually remembered what I told you."
Jisu furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "W-what exactly was it."
"You tied your hair in a ponytail. Remember? I told you you look cute on it."
"U-uhmm, yeah— y-yeah... Now I remember," Jisu said stammering between her words, as she shyly smiled and grabbed her hair shortly after.
Yeji then cleared her throat and took a deep breath, producing a loud blowing sound and catching Jisu's attention. "I-I guess I should go now."
They didn't even bid farewell to each other. They just wanted the awkwardness to end.
With that, Yeji then turned around and hastily walked her way out of the vicinity. While Jisu immediately ran inside the room and closed the door shut, leaning on the door and slowly sliding down onto the floor.
As she sat down on the floor. She then touched her face and felt how warm it got, while pulling the hood on her hoodie and hiding her face behind it shortly after. "What was that? D-did she just try to kiss me? Wait... That can't be, but she doesn't like me, or maybe she does, or maybe— ahhhh!" She shouted, kicking her legs out as if she was a kid having a tantrum.
Just at that moment. While she stared at the window, her mind then ran the whole scene that had occured all the way back. The way the cat eyed girl pulled her out and held her by the waist then slowly leaning in towards her as if she was about to... "Ahhhh! What is wrong with me!"
She then pulled the strings on her hoodie, making it fold close. Covering her entire face. "Gosh, I'm an adult... Why am I acting like a teenager," she said as she hugged her legs.
While shortly after, she then held her left chest and leaned her head up against the door.
