Chapter 21

Total silence enveloped Ryujin's surroundings with the only generated sounds being her footsteps and the outdoor ambience.

She's about to meet Hyunjin and Chaeryeong unannounced. As both her and Yeji separated and went to two separate locations. Yeji went to where Jisu were and Ryujin headed off to where her other angel companions were.

But before heading to their place she went on a detour to visit her old unit.

As she walked into the entrance of the building. The worn out yellow tapes running across the entrance and everywhere on the lobby and the chalk drawing on the floor of where the then victims were positioned. Took all of Ryujin's attention.

It took her quite a while to get to her room, as she took the time to walk there and soaked everything in.

When she did entered her room, she was shocked to see that it was cleaned. Not even a single sign that someone had died in there. One thing that she did notice though is that everything that had significance to her and Jisu were gone.

She smiled, realizing that maybe Jisu had gone here and gathered all of what's left inside this place.

As a matter of fact, when Chaeryeong and Hyunjin forbid Jisu to return to this place. That wasn't all entirely prevented, Jisu still arrogantly wanted to go here to get her stuff and also catch a glimpse of Ryujin after she disappeared.

But when Jisu did arrive here one day, every corner of the condominium produced such an eerie aura when she entered, not only that but the over all stench of the place smelled that of rotten flesh.

The overall atmosphere of the place was too much that she herself had to back out.

Minutes passed by as she walked everywhere around her unit.

Ryujin then stood on the middle of the living room after walking back and forth, looking at the door and ran back everything that occured when she had an ill-fated death.

Everything that demon did, starting from the way it looked and talked. It was all too similar that of Yeji's, yet even though the demon showed sign of its fake legitimacy. She still ignored all of it which lead to her demise.

Nonetheless Ryujin shook her head and walked out of her unit and started heading towards Yeji former place.

But as she walked in the corridor, at the end of the path. There she saw a tall dark haired woman, similar that of her killer when she reverted back to her true form.

Ryujin knew that if she'd get into a scuffle here, it'd be a messy interaction. If this unknown individual were to come out as the demon that attacked her.

But in response to this, Ryujin raised her overall security in high alert. Getting ready to sprint towards her suspected killer.

It's a dumb decision, but she still followed through. She decided to try and confront, and maybe even battle this demon.

A decision that would prove fatal.

So in one swift motion, she then broke out in a full sprint. Heavy footsteps echoed across the corridors as she drew near the unknown individual ahead of her.

As soon as she was within tackling distance, the supposed suspect then turned around. Revealing a familiar face.

It's the demon who attacked and killed her.

Beyond her expectations this demon swung with the same blade that was used against her. This demon has crazy reflexes and reaction time.

Ryujin then collapsed onto her knees, arching her back and folding down onto the ground. While letting momentum slide her a few feet away from the demon.
