Chapter 48

Few days have flown by since Jisu's date with Yeji. Nothing much have occurred since that day, other than Yuna looking at her suspiciously all throughout their times together, everything seemed to be going normal.

Everything flowed nicely for Jisu. No setbacks, no interruptions, no nothing. The brunette proceeded with her modeling duties along with Shuhua throughout the day. Going through their workshop on how to become full models and constant exercising to get them into modeling shape.

Now here they are sitting down on the company cafeteria, winding down and cooling of their system after a long session of working out.

Jisu sighed, raising her arm onto the table and resting her head onto her hand as she then tapped the table with her other free hand. "We're finally close on finishing this workshop," she lazily uttered.

Shuhua halted her fiddling from her phone and raised her gaze. "Mhmm and apparently from what our manager have told me awhile ago. The company have already gotten us a photoshoot to a clothing line that has yet to be revealed."

"Oh really? This early?"

"Yep," Shuhua replied, popping the 'p' as she ended her word. "I guess our boss who happens to be your girlfriend might have a hand on putting this up for us."

The brunette furrowed her eyebrows in disagreement. "Eeey, I doubt Yeji would do that just because I'm her girlfriend. Like I get it, but we're still amateurs."

"Oh come on, you remember that one K-drama we watched awhile back?"

Jisu raised an eyebrow. "What exactly is that K-drama?"

"You know that K-drama where the secretary and the CEO of the company fell in love?"

"Ahh, that one and what about it?"

Shuhua adjusted her position as she now leaned onto the table, engaging herself into explaining what she wanted to convey. "Remember when the secretary finally became the CEO's girlfriend?"

Jisu simply nodded.

"Now the secretary gained some privileges as soon as that happened, and I guess that's happening to you," Shuhua pointed at Jisu, which prompted the latter to look at her weirdly.

"Come on Shuhua that seems a lot far fetched. I mean I get it but if she wanted to give me privileges, couldn't she have just took me in her house and shared me her belongings instead of giving me a position to become a model?" The brunette responded, as she soon shrugged.

"You do make a point–and oh," Shuhua halted between her words. "I see you went on a date with the boss," the Chinese beauty wiggled her eyebrows, teasing and putting the brunette in a hot seat.

"We did... hey where'd you find that out from?"

Shuhua smirked and crossed her arms. "You must know that rumors have been going around saying that the boss is actually going out with somebody," Shuhua then leaned closer to Jisu. "Plus the boss was seen yesterday going out with a girl and heading off to some place with her car and I figured that it might be you."

What Shuhua said immediately struck the brunettes full on attention, immediately hooking her and engaging her to pry more into what this rumor is about.

Yeji and a certain girl being spotted going out yesterday. It made her more interested in wanting to know what this rumor was.

Now it would have been fine for her knowing that rumor... had she had actually been the girl Yeji was going out with yesterday.

But she wasn't. She was with Yuna the whole day yesterday.

So the whole thing doesn't add up.

Jisu then leaned onto the table and pulled Shuhua even closer to her. "Wait, yesterday?"
