I underestimated the power of my mind. That's a mistake everyone makes. Thoughts had so much impact on what you do, and I learnt that as the feeling I was right uplifted my spirit and made me feel at peace. I believe that refusing to show weakness in the fight of everyday life and thoughts paid off, but no one sees the world like I do. I will be the first to admit that I am flawed, but that's what makes me who I am.

I thought about all this while lying in the backyard and staring at the sky, allowing ice to spread from my hands to anywhere it wanted to go. It'd melt anyway.

Sub joined me while I was thinking and tugged my shirt. He handed me a piece of paper and looked at me impatiently to read it.

You're right..it was Alex..I just didn't want to cause any drama but I see you've already gone and done it.

"I don't regret it either." I said. Everyone who had worked with me knew I was unapologetic for my actions. I screw up a hella lot, but life's a learning process. And I knew I wasn't going to apologise to Alex, especially with this new found information.

He wrote while I spoke and after a minute or so, handed me another note.

You went too far but..I admire that in you. I believe that if you work with me and Sunny, we'll take down Alex and be unstoppable.

The two sentences didn't add up. Sub would never join Sunny willingly, and as much as I liked the way she rolled - she wouldn't hold back and would be as violent on anyone as if she hated everything equally - I'm a hero. Plus killing Alex seemed a bit extreme, after all, he was my friend whether I liked it or not.

"I'm not getting what you're saying. Why'd you join Sunny? And if you didn't, Sunny what's your plan that's going to fail anyway because everyone else is stronger than you? And killing Alex is otp anyway, we're having an argument not a war." I said.

Questioning Sunny is what brings people into the depths of her traps..

There was a long silence after that which gave me chills. I started to move away from him but he spoke again.

But to answer your questions, I only did so because she was going to help me become a better person emotionally and hero wise. She never wanted to hurt us, but as you thought, she is violent towards every creatures on earth and everything outside of it. And we're not killing Alex, that's absolutely insane! We only wanted to prank him but good.

"Elijah would be your man." I said, laughing.

Sub smiled and held out his hand like he was trying to seal a deal; I hesitantly shook it. Through the mask I could see his eyes glowing green as I felt something rush through my insides.
