"Y'know..I feel so bad that cameras didn't exist in hell I would've had such amazing keepsakes of you two." Nyeka said, pinching my cheeks.

"Oh my gooooood..." Sub whined. "Not to be disrespectful Nyeka but we kinda got a lot to do so can you just answer our question?"

Elijah, on the other hand was already fast asleep. Can't really blame him thought 'cause we've been here for hours and have gotten no answers. She seems sketchy about this and I'm not gonna let her off the hook just like that.

"So do you know Sunny or not?" I asked.

She turned away and muttered something, making me suspicious she was trying to spell us. If there's one thing I've learned from this whole superhero experience, it'd be to never let your guard down when it comes to demons, even if you are one.

"I've heard her name before. She did quite a lot for demons back in the day before she just vanished." Nyeka said.

"She's from our family. You obviously are telling less than you know."

"Maybe check Star's side of the family. Legend says she's half of both souls. If my brother ever found out there was an angel in his family, he'd flip out and murder."

"So why didn't he do that to Ethan?" Sub asked. "He's half demon - half angel and the devil hasn't done anything."

"Well that's because I haven't told him yet. He only knows about his demonic soul so it's be wise for him to come to hell when he dies."

I had to think of that for a second before I realised what she was doing. Not only was she trying to make me choose to go to hell, but she was trying to change the subject.

"Nice try but—"

"So I'll tell you all about her story.." Nyeka started.

Sub completely lost it and grabbed her by the neck and held his fist up to her face. "Answer us or I will punch you so hard you will go right back to hell."

Nyeka pushes him off using her magic and pushed the wisps of her old grey hair behind her ear. "I'm telling you what I know. Maybe the story would give you some clues connecting to what you've already discovered."

"Fine let's hear it." I said, sitting back in my chair.

"Sunny Light was never known to have parents...well demons never knew her parents..maybe the angels did was why I suggested talking to them. Basically, when the 569th war between heaven and earth occurred, Sunny was there and she took us to our first victory. She was fearless and vicious. She struck with such speed and force..much like your young friend..what's his name again? The one with the huge sword?"

"Braden?" Sub asked.

"Yes! Him! He reminds me so much of her. Anyway, we realised a pattern after we knew her name. One year we'd win, the next, she wasn't there and we lost. It was told that she was working for the angels at the same time!"

"That's probably what Star and Moon were on about. Y'know, her not getting her share of recognition whatever." Sub mentioned.

"After hundreds of years, she disappeared. Most likely because she came to earth. I keep this flag of her representation if she ever found me." Nyeka said, taking a small flag from the top of her bookshelf.

It was that tattoo sign from earlier.

"Can we keep this?" I asked, examining it more.

"Sure. I have another anyway."

It was at this moment that Elijah's phone started to ring. He was dead asleep still so I answered it for him.

"Hey Ethan. I ain't got that much time to talk since me and the others fucked up big time but I need you all to meet me at Quantum Square." Star said.

"Got it." I said. "We gotta go now Nyeka. It was nice talking."

I shook Elijah awake and we left Nyeka's to head to Quantum Square.
