Ethan
"This isn't a good idea Best." Elise muttered, crossing her arms.

"I told y'all that you could stay where you were. But I'm going to find Elijah and you won't change my mind." I said.

"I heard you, but you're gonna die alone..tell him Star."

"Mmm I'm not too sure about that..I'd do the same for my family." Star mentioned.

"Thank you Star." I gave Elise a look before continuing to push forward.

For an inhabited station, upstairs seemed really dark and abandoned. To be honest we kinda broke into this part but still, there's so much potential for up here. This place was also much bigger than I thought. It probably stretched another 3 floors high and was wide as fuck. Either way, I was going to find Elijah and I won't let a little danger scare me. I'm a triple hybrid soul - demon, angel and human, adding to that I'm a super, and finally I'm probably the most stubborn out of the whole team. And I'm proud.

I tried using our twin telepathy but I wasn't getting anything back from him, that was the first sign that he was in trouble.

"Y'all hear that?" Elise whispered.

"Hear what-?"

"Sshshshsssshhh.." she put her hand over Star's mouth.

Apart from the deafening silence, there was the quiet rattling of what sounded like chains. After that there was a bang, then silence again.

"Sounded like it came from.."

"North west." Star and I said simultaneously.

Elise laughed sarcastically. "I guess y'all share a brain too."

"Girl anyways." Star said, starting to walk in the direction of the noises. I followed close behind and Elise let out an exasperated sigh before coming. She's always so dramatic and as Star says, "and for what".

The closer we seemed to be getting to Elijah, the more I felt uneasy about this whole situation. I usually go with my gut feeling and nothing besides that - and I still was - it was just a weird sensation I felt inside of me; I can't even explain it. I haven't gotten any visions recently either, so I'm aimlessly wandering in my feelings and thoughts.

I turned to ask the girls about it, but they were gone. I swore on my life they were behind me 2 minutes ago. Maybe they had turned back? Was this a sign? Or am I just in a really realistic dream..or I'm getting a vision?

I pinched myself really hard - I felt it and it fucking hurt - but now I knew I was actually awake. The problem here now was if I continued with my gut and save Elijah, or go back with Star and Elise.

No, Elijah needed me.

I pushed forward with the uneasiness, knowing damn fucking well this was the right idea. I made my way up to what looked like a storage room. It was hella stuffy and there was the smallest amount of light around which made it possible for me to see there was a small vent in the roof. My first instinct was to shape shift into something small - a bee, and squeeze through the vent. On coming up close to it though, I saw a fan which would have probably sliced me in half. It was a well made plan, but not flawless. There's a way to get around this.

I landed on the ground and shape shifted back into my human form. The boxes here were big enough and seemed sturdy enough to hold me up - I wasn't that heavy after all. I started to push them into a mountain like arrangement until I ran out of boxes. It still wasn't high enough. Instead, I was going to fly to the vent from where the last box was, quickly change into my human form and pull off the vent cover and hopefully the fan too.

I started climbing the boxes, feeling confident in my plan. When I reached the top, something hit me softly in the head - being a dumbbell hanging from two strings. I looked up and there were plenty more - the only problem was that if I fell my reaction time wouldn't be fast enough for me to turn into something that would save me. To add insult to injury, the uneasiness was back, clogging my mind with thoughts I couldn't even identify. I decided to stay true to my original plan, but my shape shifting wasn't working anymore. This was a forced decision to take the more dangerous route, and I don't even know why or how this was happening. I remembered that I was a demon and an angel - I could come back if I wanted to..just that I didn't know how.

I hesitantly reached for the first dumbbell before letting go again. Sure I was stubborn and ambitious, but not that much. I had to come up with another plan.

I was on my way back down when a headache hit me hard and suddenly. My foot had slipped off the edge of a box and I fell like 10 feet to the ground. The back of my head hurt unbearably and the rest of my body felt weak.

It's time I introduced myself..I'm you but better. Ethan Light Best, we're going to have a hell of a time together.
