Sub let himself down using a vine and both of us looked at the scene of defeated hybrids. We felt proud as fuck, but we knew it wasn't the end of it. Some of them had the ability to regenerate body parts, while others could break the ice in like 2 seconds. The only way I managed to control some of them was getting the ice to freeze their heart and that's not as easy as you think. Sub healed some of the wounds we got and sighed.

"These people are boring." he said. "Where's the flavour? The actual challenge? I could take them on by myself with my eyes closed!"

"Do it then." I said, smirking.

"How much?"

"$50."

"Gotchu."

As promised, he ran blindly back into the battle while I sat on a bench and watched it happen. It was a peaceful day - the sky was blue with only a couple fluffy clouds in the air. The golden sun shone brightly, and the sounds of Sub ripping the heads of those who dare oppose him made this day so much better. My phone rang to break the peacefulness, and with a sigh of annoyance I took out my phone - it was Alex.

"What's up likman?" I asked.

"Oh my God you actually answered." he said, sounding relieved.

"What happened?"

"Denis told me to call two other people to help him but I can't get through to Moon, Star, Elijah, Ethan or Sub and Blue Moon said that she's busy inventing some other shit which no one else really gives a fuck about!"

"Dude calm down....I'm with Sub right now in Quantum Square. We're fighting the hybrids which Star and Moon let out. Star and the twins met us, then went to the station I think to look for you and Denis - haven't heard from them though. As for Moon right now, we prolly have to go get her after this because she literally disappeared before our eyes. Where are you anyway?"

"I'm back at the pet store. We definitely missed something back there and since Sunny's so focused on everyone at the station, now would be a perfect time to rush her. I'm just torn between whether I should do this myself or if I should go back and help you."

He paused for a while before speaking again. "I'm going in, it should take me about 20 minutes to half an hour if everything goes in my favour, then I'll come to you and we'll work from there."

"Got it. Stay purple." I said.

"Stay red." he replied before hanging up.

So at least Alex is alive, that means not all hope is lost. Hopefully Star, Elijah and Ethan can push through what Sunny has in store for them. Speaking of, I just lost $50.

"Donzo." Sub said, opening his eyes and turning back to me.

"Not bad.." I said, giving him $50 in as much change as I could.

"I hate you so much."

"You didn't specify how you wanted your transaction."

"Bruh..anyways, what now?"

"Alex is gonna meet us here in like half an hour. If he doesn't I'm gonna go help him."

"'Kay..what you wanna do in the meantime?"

"Ice cream?"

"Yes."
