"Y'all ready?" I asked, clenching my wand in my hand.

If I was being honest, I wasn't ready. I was scared - no - fucking terrified. Not just for myself though, for the other girls too. I knew that they didn't want me to worry about them, but I couldn't forgive myself if they died before me. I'd have to tell both Ethan and Denis that they're girlfriends are dead..just thinking about it made me tear up.

"Girl are you crying?" Moon asked.

"Yeah and I'll do it again bitch." I snapped. She's always in someone else's business I swear to god.

"Weren't you working together on a little 'project' back at home together? Now isn't the time for you guys to go back to your old ways." Gabby said.

"She's right. If we have any shot at at least not being killed, then we have to focus on what we're doing." Amie added.

I nodded and apologized. Moon stayed stubborn and simply shook her head in acknowledge meant.

"Wait where's Blue?" I asked.

"Probably started without us. Better get in there before she dies by the rays, amiright?" Moon joked.

The remaining three of us gave her a blank stare before pushing open the doors to what looked like a mini kingdom. For a place located so close to society, it was impressive how she created this and wasn't caught. It's the wonders of magic I guess.

Once we made our way in, what faced me was disappointment. The interior was not half as cool as the outside, in fact, it was just empty. We could see Blue deep into a fight with Sunny in the air, and while we could just watch, we separated into our two groups and activated our powers. Gabby didn't have any yet, which worried me, but she seemed confident so who am I to get in the way of that.

"Hey stop focusing on them. We need to live too." Moon said, handing me the rope she came with.

"Yeah but I just thought-"

She looked up at me suddenly and gave me a cold stare which was enough to shut me up. I silently tied the rope to my right ankle and created icicles in my hand.

"What is the rope for? I can fly." I said.

"Shut up and do it then." Moon said rudely.

Amie gave me her signal after creating what looked like a jet-pack. It was pink and black, like the rest of her super suit. She also had a rope tied around her ankle, which Gabby was holding onto. Finally, Amie created a crossbow in her hand and flaming arrows to put in the small sack on the side of her belt, then gave us a nod.

Together, we flew at the fighting duo, making sure we hit Sunny only. I stabbed icicles into her head while Amie aimed for her chest and fired. She screamed and let go of Blue, who stood back with a smile. Amie and I were brought down by the ropes before Sunny could attack us.

We untied the knots and gave each other a high five.

"Not bad for your first official battle." I said.

"See, told you we were ready." Amie boasted. Within that tone it sounded like she surprised herself too in a way.

"Yeah, yeah. But shit's far from over. Demons don't give up that easily." Moon said as she came toward us.

As if on cue (or quite frankly as if Moon jinxed it or made it happen), Sunny turned to us. Beneath all the blood and sweat we could see her bright yellow glowing eyes and angered frown. She breathed heavily as a black aura made its way from her back to the front of her body. On her neck was one of the light tattoos, but hers was a sun - we had already established that it had something to do with her and now we had even more evidence. But it wasn't that which caught my eye.

Half of the sun was missing its rays and in that place was a quarter moon shaped marking. It was a faded purple and I knew Moon's was black, Blue's was obviously blue, and so the only other person was Alex.

And then everything made sense to me. His missing piece wasn't Elijah as we would've thought before, it was Sunny's. Which explained why Elijah's still had rays on his. It matched with Ethan's tattoo - not Alex's.

I kept that in mind as I watched the last of her demon transformation. It wasn't as big as I expected, but she sure looked way more horrifying than when I last saw her. She pulled a flaming sword from her back and landed on the floor, staring directly at the five of us.

"All you had to do..was give me what you owed me. You could've avoided getting your little vulnerable human friends in danger, but you guys are just too stubborn huh." she said softly.

"We don't owe you shit Sunny, and we never will. Fight us if you wanna, see if we don't kick your ass royally a second time." Moon said.

Sunny giggled, then suddenly threw her sword in Gabby's direction, who instead of ducking to keep her from being decapitated, simply stepped aside and grabbed the sword's handle as it passed her. We all were left open-mouthed, Sunny included.

"I've been in an alternate world for half my life, I've seen and learnt a lot." Gabby said.

"Wait shouldn't your hand be..unless?" Amie asked with semi-excitedness.

"I have my first power? I think I have my first power!"

The two started to celebrate while jumping, and I couldn't help but smile at it. These girls were going to get places just like the guys were, and I was all for it.
