mike and will were out on a walk in the fresh autumn. autumn was will's favourite season, and of course he wanted to spend it with mike. the two boys were lying on the grass, side by side. mike was playing with the grass and will was a nervous wreck. william byers was lying next to his one true love, micheal wheeler. his heart was beating unhealthily fast.

"hey look, a flower that's not actually dead!" mike said, breaking the comforting silence.

"wow, that's quite rare in a-autumn." will said, still being insanely nervous.

mike picked the flower out of the beautiful emerald grass, and started at it for awhile. it was a sunflower, but it wasn't very big. he smelt it, and was delighted by the scent. it smelt like will, and that made him happy.

"hey, look." mike said softly, getting the other boy's attention.

the flower was in front of will's eyes, being handed to him. michael wheeler was giving him a flower.

the small boy took the offer, and held the golden sunflower in his small hands. he smelt it, and a soft smile rose onto his face.

"t-thanks.." will said, trying not to make eye contact with the other boy next to him.

"no problem, you deserve it." he replies softly.

after lying on the grass of the park for a little longer, the two boys heard bike's approaching the park. they ignored it, thinking it was just some sporty people out on a bike ride. it was actually a little boy, probably about the age of 4, on his way to the park with his parents.

"mommy, look! its two boys in love!" the child called, excitedly.

the comment made the two boys jump back to reality, they looked at eachother, both red as a tomato. they quickly caught glance of their hands, held together. both boys quickly let go, both now being nervous wrecks.

"come on stan, let's go." the little boy's mom said.

"but they're in love mommy!!" he called, pouting. it was adorable.

the mom grabbed his son away from the two boys.
