Serene POV
"Serene!" I heard someone shout. I slowly looked up and saw Alex kneeling beside me. I saw on the floor. I looked around. Charles was yelling and Hank was trying to take the helmet off of him.
"Do something, Hank!" Raven shouted. Hank started ripping pieces and wires out of the control panel in order to make it stop.
"It won't shut down!" Hank yelled.
"Alex," Charles said. "Destroy it."
"What?" Alex asked.
"Destroy everything. Destroy Cerebro!" Charles yelled. "Wreak Havoc!" Alex stepped in front of the control panel and the red energy shot out of his chest, hotter than fire, destroying the walls of Cerebro. Alex reached out his hand and more energy shot out. I had forgotten I was on the floor until Moria placed her hand on my shoulder.
"Serene, are you ok?" She asked. I slowly nodded. She reached her hand out to me and I took it. She helped me up. Alex stopped his energy serge. The doors opened up behind us. Charles leaned his head to one side, unconscious. Hank removed the helmet and we all went back outside the broken Cerebro. Hank and Alex wheeled Charles out after Moria, Raven, and I.
"Charles, Charles are you ok?" Hank asked. The door to Cerebro closed behind us. Suddenly, there was a rumbling noise behind us. I turned around and saw a circular purple prism open up to reveal 5 figures. One of them I recognized instantly.
Erik POV
Raven, Charles, Hank, Alex, and Moria were in front of us. And another who I didn't recognize. It was a young girl, around 13. She had pale skin, long dark silver hair, and hazel eyes that looked to be tinted a little bit red. I knew who it was deep down, even if I didn't want to admit it. She looked at me, her eyes full of shock and hurt. But she didn't say anything.
"Erik." Raven said. I reached out my hand. I felt through the magnetic field and got hold of Charles' metal chair, pulling it and him towards us.
"Charles!" Serene screamed, moving towards us. Hank grabbed her arm, stopping her. I saw Apocalypse look at her curiously.
"Interesting..." He said, studying her. "Death in the flesh." Serene didn't say, she didn't even look at him. She was looking at me. I looked away to avoid her gaze. Apocalypse turned towards me.
"Do you know this girl?" He asked. I looked back at Serene. If I said yes, she would get hurt. And if I said no, she would still get hurt. But maybe he would leave her alone if I said no.
"No," I said quietly. I saw a tear fall from the corner of Serene's eye. Maybe she just glared at me because of who I was. Magneto. Maybe she didn't know who I was to her. Apocalypse turned back to Serene.
"You hold great power," He said. "I might yet have use for you."
"You will never take her!" Alex said running up to us. There was a whole burned through the front of his shirt. He was going to try and use his energy.
"Alex!" Hank shouted. We all started turning away from them.
"Hey! Hey asshole!" Alex said.
"All will be revealed, my child." Apocalypse said. The purple dome started to circle us once again.
"Alex, no!" Hank said. Red energy shot out of Alex, but he was too late. We were already gone.
