Vacations are few and far between for idols, especially when you've only been debuted for almost two years. Usually, when idols are informed that they have a vacation, it means doing things with a camera glued to you. So you can imagine the TXT members' reactions when they were told they could have a vacation. No strings attached. Heuningkai suspected hidden cameras, but the staff told them there weren't any.
"You have to be planning something!" Yeonjun had said. The five simply couldn't believe it. They eventually did, however, come to terms with the fact that there really were no strings attached. Heuningkai, Soobin, and Taehyun all decided to visit their families, finding this a better time than any other to do so. Yeonjun and Beomgyu decided to just stay at the dorm and relax.
For Beomgyu, this meant sneaky slips into little space.

"See you guys in a week!" Yeonjun called, Beomgyu waving from behind him. The other three were headed to the airport, where they'd split up and get on their flights. Shutting the door, Yeonjun turned around and sighed. "I'm gonna go to the mall, do you wanna come with me?" he asked Beomgyu, who seemed distracted. "No, I'll stay here," the closeted little replied. Yeonjun shrugged, grabbing a hat, jacket, and mask and putting them on. "I'll probably be a couple hours, are you sure?" Beomgyu nodded, smiling and seeing Yeonjun out.
Beomgyu couldn't wait. He had a half plan already put together, knowing he had a good three to four hours before Yeonjun came back. After jumping up and down in excitement, the little ran to his and Soobin's shared room. Kneeling on the floor to get to his unoriginal under-the-bed hiding place, the excited boy pulled out a small box. Inside was a stuffed bunny, a couple of coloring books, a blanket, and some crayons.
Setting the worn bunny gently on the bed, Beomgyu pulled out a coloring book and his crayons. Laying on his stomach on the floor, he flipped through the pages until he found one he liked. "Beomie gonna color this one!" the talkative little said to himself. "Gonna be the bestest kitty in the world!"

As all people do, Beomgyu lost track of time. Yeonjun had messaged, saying he was on his way home, but the little had ignored the ding of his phone. How could he have heard it? He'd decided to take a nap after all. Beomgyu had changed into an oversized shirt and some shorts, curled up with his blanket and stuffie, and had promptly fallen asleep.
When Yeonjun walked into the dorm, he half expected to see Beomgyu sitting in the living room on his phone. Usually, when Beomgyu said he wanted to relax it meant sitting around in the living room... As far as his members know. Yeonjun went to his room, putting down his shopping bags and going to find Beomgyu. Walking up to the other's bedroom door, the pink-haired male knocked lightly.
"Gyu? You in there?" Yeonjun called. When he got no response, he tried the doorknob, which was unlocked, and opened the door. "Beomgyu?" Looking at Beomgyu's bed, all he could see was a lump under a blanket he didn't recognize. The only thing indicating someone was under the blanket was the steady rise and fall of breathing and a tuft of hair poking out.
Yeonjun made his way over, confused by the coloring books and crayons, shaking Beomgyu slightly. "Beomgyu, wake up!" The sleeping little woke with a start, sitting up quickly and looking around the room. When his eyes landed on Yeonjun, tears appeared. "Hey, what's wrong?" Yeonjun asked, sitting on the edge of Beomgyu's bed. The little shook his head, burying his face in his stuffed bunny. Yeonjun took notice of this, cautiously scooting closer and wrapping his arms around his tense friend.
The two sat in silence for a couple of minutes, Beomgyu finally relaxing into Yeonjun. The little had avoided crying, but he was still choked up. "Are you alright?" Beomgyu looked up at Yeonjun, nodding. "Do you wanna talk about it?" The brown-haired male shook his head, looking at his bunny. "Do you wanna text it to me?"
After much struggling, Beomgyu managed to pull up a website explaining the situation. The little traced circles onto the back of Yeonjun's free hand while the older was reading. When he was finished, Yeonjun held out the other's phone for him to take. Instead, Beomgyu wrapped his arms tightly around his friend, burying his face in his shoulder. "Please don't leave," he whispered just loud enough for Yeonjun to hear.
    "Why would I leave, Beomie?
I'm completely fine with it, it's your life so I don't get a say. But there are a couple of questions I have to ask you." Beomgyu looked up at Yeonjun, waiting. "Why didn't you tell any of us? You know we wouldn't mind!" The little looked down, playing with Yeonjun's hand while he answered. "It's scary... really, really scary... Don' matter you don' mind..." Yeonjun hummed. "And I read something about little's needing caregivers. Do you have one? If so, who?"
Beomgyu'd expression turned sad. "No, Beomie have no caregiver..." Yeonjun frowned, looking down at his friend still encased in his arms. "Do you take care of yourself?" A nod. "Beomie been doin' it for a long, long time. Know how to take care of Beomie," Beomgyu said, his words sounding sad and lonely.
"Why don't we test the waters? I could be your caregiver, but only if you want." Beomgyu's face lit up, the little pulling away from Yeonjun and asking, "Really?! You really gonna be Beomie's caregiver?! Really, really?!" Yeonjun smiled softly, placing a hand on Beomgyu's head. "If you want me to! You'll have to help me out a bit in the beginning, but I'll get the hang of it!" Beomgyu jumped onto Yeonjun, wrapping his arms around him and causing the two to fall back onto the bed. "Yes, yes! Beomie want you to! Beomie help you!" Yeonjun chuckled lightly, wrapping his arms around Beomgyu. "Okay, then it's settled!"
"I hate to ruin the mood, Beomie, but we also need to think of when we're gonna tell the others," Yeonjun said once Beomgyu had come to a stopping point. The little whined softly, pouting. "We don't have to do it soon, but it's something to think about." After that, the two spent the rest of the day cuddling and talking, Yeonjun getting to know his little and Beomgyu rambling on about anything he could think of.
