Felix knew when he started getting sick that this time was going to be bad. He could feel it in the pit of his stomach. He would've gone to see a doctor, but the group was busy. "Are you sure you don't need to see a doctor?" Chan had asked before dance practice. "I'll be fine," Felix replied, earning a skeptical look from Chan.
    Not even Felix believed it.
Not when he had a bad cough, or when he started feeling a bit too warm, or when his head started hurting. But he pushed himself to dance nonetheless. His group mates were working hard, so should Felix. So, he danced even when every muscle in his body screamed for him to stop. He danced until his legs gave out on him.
"Felix!" The others came running over, crowding around Felix with worried faces. "I'm okay," Felix said, more for himself than anyone else. It was when he tried to stand and couldn't that he slipped. "I can't get up!" he cried, looking up with a scared expression. When his eyes met Chan's, Felix reached out with teary eyes.
Chan walked over and crouched down next to the scared little. "Lixie, you're gonna be okay. You're sick, and you probably just overworked your body," he said, placing a hand on Felix's head and messing up his hair. "But we do need to get you to the doctor." At this, Felix whined. "I know bubs, but once we know what's wrong we can get you feeling better!"

Much convincing and a doctor's visit later, not to mention Felix throwing up at the doctor's office, and Chan now knew what was wrong with the little. "What pneumonia?" Felix asked Chan while they were driving back. "It's like a cold, but worse. Don't worry though, you're gonna be okay!" Felix nodded, looking out the window at the buildings passing by.
When the two got back to the dorm, the other members weren't there. They had a busy schedule, so only Chan and Felix could miss practice that day. "Channie, it's cold," Felix whined. Chan helped the little lay down on the couch, leaving and coming back quickly with a blanket. "Here baby, use this."
As Felix pulled the blanket over himself he finally noticed his headache and aching body. So, just as Chan was about to go into the kitchen, he whined loudly. "What is it, Lix?" Chan asked, making his way back over. "Hurts..." The caregiver brushed the damp hair off of his little's forehead, furrowing his eyebrows. "What hurts?"
"Everything!" Seeing the tears building in Felix's eyes Chan frowned. "I'll go get you some medicine, okay? Then we can watch whatever you want or you can take a nap!" Felix nodded slowly. The little let his tears fall as holding them back only made his head hurt more. "Here," Chan said, helping Felix sit up and take the medicine. "It'll get better in a minute bubs."
True to Chan's words, Felix's aching and the headache got better at most thirty minutes later. The pain wasn't gone completely, but it was manageable, and the two were now cuddling and watching a random show on the TV.
Even though they weren't doing anything, Felix felt an awful feeling come up his throat. "Channie?" the little whispered. "Yes, bubs? why are you whispering?" Felix finally recognized the feeling. "I'm gonna throw up." At this, Chan hurried to pick Felix up and carry him down the hall to the bathroom.
"Hang on Lix, we're almost there." Once they were in the bathroom, Felix could feel his mouth start to water. "You're okay babe, I'm here." By the time the little finally threw up, he was already crying. "I know bubs, it's okay." With Chan whispering reassuring words to him, Felix felt a little better. When he finished, he was no longer crying.

As the other six filed through the front door, they could hear the theme song to Star vs. the Forces of Evil playing from the living room. "We're home," Changbin called. Dropping their bags off, they made their way toward the living room. "Hey there Lix, how are you feeling?" Jisung asked once in the room. "Better, but still bad..."
The eight boys all sat and watched Felix's favorite show for an hour or two before it was dinner time. "Hope you guys are up for some soup!" Chan said, getting up and going to the kitchen. "No one better say anything cause I'm not changing the menu even if you do." No one argued. Once Chan uses that tone, it's a futile effort to do so.
After dinner, it was time for Felix to wash up. "C'mon Lix, a bath will help you feel better," Chan said. The caregiver helped his little up off the couch despite his whining. "I know you don't wanna get up, but you need a bath bubs, you've been sweating all day." Felix stopped whining halfway down the hall, thinking a bath would be nice for his gross feeling body. "I can have bubbles, please? And duckies?"
Once the bath was run, Chan turned around so that Felix could get undressed and in the water. When he was done, Chan turned around and started washing his hair. The little hummed quietly while playing with the rubber ducks and bubbles as Chan rinsed his hair. "You having fun there?" the caregiver asked. Felix looked up from his ducks who were currently spies, nodding and smiling softly.
When Felix was done with his bath he felt better than he had all day. "Time for bed baby!" Chan called to the little who was coloring. "Let's clean up and get to bed," he said, helping Felix pick up the various colors of crayons. Once they had picked up the crayons and papers, the two went off to their room.
"Goodnight, Lix..." Chan whispered once they were situated in bed. "Night night, Channie... Thank you for taking care of me, I love you," Felix whispered back. "I love you too babe..." And, while he was cuddled up in Chan's arms all warm and cozy, Felix forgot about his sickness as he drifted off into sweet dreams.
