Changmin was at practice with the others, like normal, dancing and trying to perfect his moves. Afterward, the leader stayed behind to practice some more. He knew he was pushing himself a little too much, but he had to run the choreography at least one more time. So, he started the music and got ready.
About a minute into the song, Changmin stepped wrong, falling to the floor. He stuck his arms out to try and catch himself, a loud, scary sound coming from his right hand as it hit the ground. Pain shot up Changmin's arm, the dancer immediately cradling the limb to his chest. The pain was intense, like nothing he'd experienced before.
Tears found Changmin's eyes and escaped down his cheeks. He was frightened and confused. Confused by the unfamiliar feeling creeping up into the back of his head. Suddenly, everything was a lot scarier. Finally realizing he was alone and hurt, Changmin's tears started falling faster, a short, pained sob leaving his lips.
Overwhelmed with the unfamiliar feeling, the pounding music, and the pain in his wrist, Changmin started sobbing. Loud wails tore through his throat, so loud that they were heard over the song. He lost track of time while crying, not knowing how long passed before someone found him. He couldn't focus on anything but the pain and his cries.
Changmin was so focused he didn't notice when the music turned off or the hurried footsteps coming his way. "Changmin? Changmin, what happened?" He only noticed the presence when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Quickly moving so he was on his back, Changmin looked up to find a worried Dongil looking down at him. "What happened?" Dongil repeated.
The older tried his hardest to form words through his panicked state, soon finding he was unable to do so. All that came out was incoherent babbles. "I can't understand you. Try to calm down," Dongil said so Changmin could hear him. He helped Changmin sit up through his babbles, taking notice of the cradled limb.
"Did you get hurt?" Dongil asked. Changmin nodded quickly, the volume of his cries never changing. "Let me see," Dongil said, holding out his hand. The older shook his head frantically. Dongil had already caught on to the fact that Changmin couldn't form words, opting to just ask yes or no questions.
"Does it hurt like it might be broken?" Changmin nodded, his sobs starting to lower in volume. "If it hurts that bad, I'm taking you to the doctor. Let me help you up," Dongil said, taking Changmin's uninjured arm to help him stand. Once on his feet, Changmin stumbled. He would've fallen if Dongil hadn't still been holding his arm.
"Here." Dongil turned around, crouching in front of Changmin. "Get on, we gotta go." Changmin shakily walked forward, dropping his weight on the younger's back. Dongil stood up, grabbing Changmin's bag and heading out of the building. At this point, Changmin was reduced to soft sniffles and a quiet sob every now and then.

After dropping off Changmin's bag, grabbing masks and hats as well, the two finally arrived at the emergency room. "Hello, how may I help you?" the woman at the front desk asked. "Hi, I think my friend here broke his hand or his wrist." The woman nodded. "I'll need a name." "Changmin, Lee Changmin." She nodded again, typing something on her computer.
"Fill out this form, please, and have a seat, a nurse will be out shortly." She handed Dongil a clipboard and motioned to the seating area. It wasn't very long before the two heard Changmin's name being called. Changmin had regained a bit of his mind, which was still quite foggy and still had that confusing feeling, enough that he had messily explained what had happened to Dongil.
After a while, Changmin started feeling that funny feeling again. He didn't know what to do, it was all very confusing. "Dongil?" He spoke quietly, so quiet that Dongil almost didn't hear him. "Yes, Min?" Changmin's eyes glossed over. Looking over at the younger, he frowned.
"I'm scared..." Dongil was infused, to say the least, as to why Changmin was acting the way he was. "Changmin, why are you scared? I know you don't like the doctor, but you're usually good about it." Changmin's frown deepened. "I don't know... I'm just really scared right now. And I feel all funny..."

The two had talked more at the doctor's office, trying to figure out what was happening to Changmin before they went home. They didn't come up with any answers, only more questions. Now, Dongil and Changmin were sitting on the order's bed on their phones, thin to see if anything came up. "Anything?" Changmin asked, that feeling gone for the moment.
Dongil had been concentrated on the same page for a couple minutes now. "Does the funny feeling feel like you're a child?" Changmin thought back to the times it was most prominent, knowing the answer right away "Yes... Does the website say what's happening?" Dongil nodded slowly. "It says something about a thing called little space... Do you know what that is?"
Surprisingly, Dongil knew a bit about it, Changmin having no idea despite being the little. The younger explained it to Changmin, who had a hard time realizing exactly what it meant to be a little. It was something relatively new to the two, and later on the whole group, but they were going to figure things out.
