    Seungyoun loves animals. He loves how small and cute they can be, loves how big and cute they can be. He just loves them in general. Anytime he sees a cute pet or stray, he has to pet them. Of course, he washes his hands after petting strays so he doesn't get sick or anything like that. There's only one problem with this.
    Seungyoun is allergic to cats.
    Both of his caregivers are aware of this and don't allow Seungyoun to pet cats while they're around. Though Yibo is a lot more likely to cave than Sungjoo. Seungyoun, especially when he's little, doesn't understand why they don't let him pet the cats. His allergy isn't even that bad! All that happens is he gets stuffy, sneezes a lot, his eyes water, and wherever he touches the cat turns red for a while. No biggy.
    But Seungyoun is Yibo and Sungjoo's baby, they can't let him get hurt in any way. Not if they can help it. So, while the trio was out and about taking a walk around their neighborhood, Sungjoo was on the lookout for cats. Any time he saw one and knew Seungyoun saw it too, he wouldn't let the little anywhere near it.
    "Sungie's no fun," Seungyoun said, pouting. That had been the second cat he could've pet if only Sungjoo wasn't so watchful. "No fun is being all red and stuffy," Sungjoo playfully said. "I don't want my baby to be a cherry!" This caused Seungyoun to laugh a little, the three continuing their walk.

    Seungyoun, Yibo, and Sungjoo were almost home, and Seungyoun hadn't pet a single cat. To make things worse, they'd seen at least four on their walk. This had caused the little to pout the entire walk, the three almost to their house now. Their neighbor was out sitting on his porch and waved when he saw them. "Hey, guys!"
    "Hey, Wenhan!" Sungjoo called back, waving. The trio made their way over to Wenhan, Sungjoo striking up a conversation while Yibo and Seungyoun followed along. A couple of minutes in and Seungyoun was bored, looking around for something to do. Then he spotted it. A cat. This was one he hadn't seen around the neighborhood before.
    Seungyoun tapped Yibo on the shoulder, pointing to the cat. "I see baby, isn't it a cute little kitty?" Yibo said, seeing the way Seungyoun's eyes sparkled at the sight of the animal. Then, the little turned those eyes on him, Yibo dreading what was coming next. "I can pet it? Please?" Seungyoun asked, putting on his best puppy eyes.
    "Baby... Sungjoo wouldn't want you petting it..." Yibo said. The caregiver was trying his hardest to resist the eyes but they were working, my god they were working. It didn't take but two more pleases for Yibo to cave. "Alright... But only a quick pat! Nothing more!" he said, Seungyoun already petting the cute animal.
    While all of this was happening, Sungjoo and Wenhan were still talking. "Oh! I just got a new cat today!" Wenhan exclaimed. Sungjoo froze, a knowing feeling creeping up his back. "You wouldn't, by any chance, let it roam around outside, would you?" Wenhan nodded while smiling brightly, clueless about the situation.
    "It seems Yibo and Seungyoun already met her!"
    Sungjoo turned around slowly, eyes moving to the ground where Seungyoun was sat with the cat in his arms. "Seungyoun," he sighed out. The little looked up, quickly setting the cat down and pointing at Yibo. "Bo let me!" the little said loudly. Yibo looked betrayed. Putting a hand over his heart, the caregiver scoffed in disbelief. "I thought we were allies!"
    Seungyoun shrugged, hoping that ratting out Yibo would get him in less trouble. And it did. "Why did you let him pet the cat?" Sungjoo asked, gesturing to the animal. "He got me! It's those dang puppy-dog eyes! I can't resist!" Yibo replied, fake sobbing. Wenhan watched the scene in front of him, confused as to why the little couldn't pet Ms. Pumpkin.
    "Why can't Seungyoun pet Ms. Pumpkin?" Wenhan asked. Sungjoo turned to him, sighing. "Because he's allergic." Their neighbor's eyes widened, the poor male thinking the allergy was severe. "Does he need to go to the hospital?" he asked quickly, picking up Ms. Pumpkin and stepping away from the little.
    "No, his allergy isn't that bad," Yibo answered. Wenhan let out a breath of relief. "Thank goodness!" Sungjoo lightly scolded Seungyoun, who pouted while staring longingly at the cat. "Alright, well, we should be getting home. It's almost lunchtime," Sungjoo said once he had finished talking to Seungyoun. "Alrighty! See you guys later!"
    "Bye-bye, Ms. Pumpkin..."

    After lunch, Seungyoun's allergy started kicking in, a loud sneeze telling Sungjoo and Yibo that he would be going to bed early. The little always goes to bed early if he doesn't feel good. "Baby c'mere!" Yibo called from the couch, Seungyoun making his way over. "Yes, Bo?" Yibo took the little's hands in his, inspecting his red arms.
    "Next time we see Ms. Pumpkin or any of the neighborhood cats, let's leave them alone, okay?" Yibo suggested, getting a nod from Seungyoun. Both of them knew that conclusion wouldn't last long, but they were satisfied nonetheless. Sungjoo came into the living room with a change of clothes for their little. "You have cat hair all over you. Let's go change into these so your allergies can go away!"
    A change of clothes later, Seungyoun was on the couch cuddled up in between his caregivers. The trio was watching a show about two superheroes, a ladybug and a cat I think. They sat there for the rest of the day watching shows and cuddling, Seungyoun's quiet sniffles the only sound they made.
