I was inspired to write this chapter by someone saying in another little space oneshot book that they never see little Seungmin! So, here you go! It's a long-ish chapter, too!

Hyunjin hurried back to the dorm, the driver not driving fast enough for him. Chan had called him and said that Seungmin was little and wanted him home. The caregiver had been practicing their new dance alone while the others were in the studio or at the dorm. Pulling out his phone, Hyunjin dialed Chan to tell him that he'd be later than he'd said he'd be.
    "Hello?"
"Hey, Chan! I'm about fifteen minutes away, is Seungmin alright? He's usually fine until I get home." A sigh was heard on the other end of the line. "He's not really feeling too well. He was complaining about his throat hurting, so we took him to see someone. They said he needs to rest his throat, avoid talking or singing for the next few days. Even though we've given him simple remedies, he's still complaining that his throat hurts."
Hyunjin frowned. He had told Seungmin not to practice so much, worried he would hurt himself, but that's exactly what his little had done. "Can you put him on the phone?" Hyunjin asked Chan, who hummed. There was some shuffling before Chan said, "You're on speaker, he's right here." Smiling unconsciously, Hyunjin spoke.
"Hey there, pumpkin! I hear your throat's feeling icky and you aren't allowed to talk... I'm on my way home, I'm only about five minutes away now! Are you being a good boy for me?" There was a small silence before Chan responded for Seungmin. "He says yes, and I second that. He's been very good while you've been on your way." Hyunjin smiled.
The three stayed on the phone for the last couple of minutes of the drive, only hanging up when Hyunjin got to the door. "I'm back!" he called, closing the door and turning around just in time. Seungmin, knowing he was home, had waited at the door, jumping on his caregiver once he saw the opportunity.
Hyunjin huffed at the sudden weight, adjusting his little so he didn't drop him. "Hey, Seungminnie! Did you miss me?" Seungmin nodded, burying his face in Hyunjin's neck. The caregiver made his way into the living room where everyone else was. "Hey, guys!" he said, sitting on the couch with Seungmin on his lap. Looking around, Hyunjin saw Jeongin, Minho, and Felix all on the floor playing with stuffed animals.
"Pumpkin, don't you wanna play?" Seungmin came out from his hiding place, frowning and shaking his head. "Why not?" Hyunjin looked to Jisung, who had been listening. "He can't talk, and they're playing a game where you have to talk. You could ask them to change to a different activity though! They've been at it for about an hour, and are bound to be bored of it soon."
Hyunjin looked back at Seungmin, smiling. "Do you wanna color? I can ask the others if they'll color with you!" Seungmin smiled brightly, nodding quickly. "Okay, go get the crayons and coloring books." The little got up, walking off to do as asked. "Innie, Lixie, and Minnie! Can you come here a minute?" The three littles all set down their toys, gathering around Hyunjin.
"You know how Seungminnie can't talk, yeah? Well, we don't want him feeling left out, so, will you guys color with him for a bit?" The other littles nodded, happy to spend time with their friend. "Thank you," Hyunjin said. "Welcome!" Jeongin replied loudly. "Yeah! Welcome!" Felix chimed, Minho adding, "Don' need to thank us! We gonna play with Seungminnie anyway!"
By the end of their little chat, Seungmin had come back with his arms full of coloring supplies. "There he is! Go on and color, guys." Felix helped Seungmin put down the things he'd brought out, all of the littles sitting down on the floor to color.

The littles ended up coloring for around two hours, only stopping for dinner. "Pumpkin, come here! It's dinner time!" Hyunjin called from the table. The soft padding of feet was the only indicator that Seungmin was on his way. "Come sit," the caregiver said, patting the seat next to him. Seungmin sat down and smiled at Hyunjin, waiting for everyone else.
After dinner, Seungmin's throat started hurting again. He couldn't say anything but he wanted to tell Hyunjin somehow, in hopes of him making it better. "Hey pumpkin, what's up?" Hyunjin asked when Seungmin tapped his shoulder. The little pouted, pointing to his throat. "Is your throat bothering you again?" Nodding, Seungmin sat down next to his caregiver.
"I'm sorry baby, do you want some pain medicine?" Hyunjin asked, wrapping his arms around Seungmin and pressing a kiss to the top of his head. The little nodded again, eyes slightly watery. "Come on, let's go get that medicine!" The two made their way to the kitchen, Seungmin watching as Hyunjin got out a pill bottle and a cup.
Once Seungmin had taken the pills, the cool water helping to soothe his throat some, the two went to their room and cuddled. "I love you, pumpkin..." Seungmin smiled brightly, pressing a messy kiss to Hyunjin's cheek in response. "Thank you for the kiss!" Seungmin nodded, cuddling back into Hyunjin's side. The two soon fell asleep, dreaming of many good things.
