Initiation Begins

Weiss was flying through the air. Quickly she stops her momentum with a glyph. From there she summoned more to use as platforms to descend safely upon getting close to the bottom she spots a Beowolf in the landing zone. That's just great. She thought sarcastically. She ready's Myrtenaster and uses a glyph to launch herself at the unsuspecting Grimm. With the speed of lightning Weiss comes down impaling the Beowolf's neck killing it instantly.

As it turns to dust Weiss' attention is pulled to the side of a mountain in the distance. She furrows her brow in confusion seeing a red glint like that of a sniper rifle scope. Maybe it's one of the teachers. She thought. Weiss decides that it was the most likely explanation, and carries on with her mission. As she walks through the forest she gets lost in her thoughts slightly.

Alright so first and foremost, I need to find a teammate. After that we need to get to the ruins and collect a relic before returning back to the cliff. She sighs. I wonder how Hope is doing. She looked scared. I don't think I ever want to see her like that again. Weiss then smacks her forehead. Stop it stop it Weiss, you need to focus on the mission. She scolds herself. Alright who do I know at this school. There's Pyrrha. She's strong and smart, but I think she's trying to get away from fame so being around me would likely make headlines at some point. There's Ruby. She's nice.

Just then Weiss can hear the sound of something sliding on the dirt. Looking over Weiss can see Ruby is the source as she comes to a stop looking down slightly. Slowly she looks up to Weiss who smiles seeing someone she recognizes.

"Hey Ruby." Weiss says.

Ruby seems to breath out in relief. "I'm so glad it was someone I recognized." Ruby mutters, but Weiss heard her and chuckled lightly to the statement.

"Come on," Weiss starts. "We gotta go grab a relic." Weiss smiles.

"Yeah." Ruby agrees. "Oh! Maybe we'll see some of the others on the way!"

"That's the spirit." Weiss smiles.

The two walk for a bit coming across the sound of grunting. Looking up Weiss and Ruby see a guy with blond hair, a white chest piece, a hoodie, and jeans. The hood of his hoodie was impaled into a tree by Pyrrha's spear. He chuckles awkwardly.

"Hi there." He says. "I'm Jaune."

Ruby snorts. " aren't you the guy that threw up in the ship?" The guy sighs, and Weiss lightly hits Ruby's shoulder.

"It was motion sickness. I'm not very use to being in the air, if the spear was any hint."

"Scared of heights?" Weiss asks.

"Yeah. I try not to show it though."

"Makes sense."

"Soooooo," Ruby starts. "How do we get him down?" Weiss thinks for a moment before getting interrupted by a voice.

"Perhaps I could help?" Pyrrha suggests.

"Pyrrha!" Ruby cheers.

"You have really good timing." Weiss states.

Pyrrha moves her hand out and it glows slightly in response her spear flys back to her hand causing Jaune to fall only to be caught by Ruby and Weiss.

"My heroes." He jokes. Weiss rolls her eyes, Pyrrha laughs, and Ruby giggles.

"Sorry." Pyrrha says. "For pinning you to a tree."

"Yeah, well if you hadn't I probably wouldn't be standing so, thank you." Jaune smiles. "For pinning me to a tree."

Back on the cliff Ozpin watch's the initiation from his scroll with the Twins watching as well.

"Looks like she made some friends." Sayó states.

"Yes," Mei adds. "I believe the girls are the ones she talked to in the locker room today."

"Indeed they are." Ozpin confirms. "Pyrrha Nikos, and Ruby Rose."

"The one in red is a Silver eyed warrior." Sayó gasps.

"Not yet." Ozpin frowns. "Though one day she will be."

Back in the forest the group travels with Pyrrha in the lead. Right behind her is Weiss and Ruby. In last is Jaune. As they were walking Pyrrha pushes a branch out of the way. Ruby then holds the branch for Weiss, but when she let go, an unsuspecting Jaune gets whacked in the face.

"Oh my god! Jaune!" Ruby panics. "I'm sorry."

"It's alright." He says getting up with a visible scratch on his face. "Just a scratch."

Weiss furrows her brows. "Why didn't you activate your Aura?"

"Gazuntite."

"Jaune." Pyrrha says. "Do you know what Aura is?"

"Of course I know what Aura is." He laughs unconvincingly. "Do you know what Aura is?"

"Aura is the manifestation of ones soul." Pyrrha answers.

"It's like a Force Field." Ruby states.

Pyrrha chuckles. "If you prefer to think of it that way."

"Everyone has it even animals." Weiss explains.

Jaune furrows his brow. "What about Monsters?" He asks.

"No." Pyrrha denies. "The Monsters we fight lack a soul."

"It's why we fight them." Ruby states.

"Right." Pyrrha agrees. "They are the darkness and we," She gestures to everyone there. "Are the light." Pyrrha furrows her brows before an idea pops into her head. "Here. Close your eyes and concentrate."

"Uhh, ok?" Jaune was hesitant for a moment but complied.

Pyrrha places her hand onto Jaune's chest. "For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all, infinite in distance and unbound by death. I release your soul, and by my shoulder protect thee." Jaune begins glowing a bright white. As his aura activates, though Pyrrha hunches over holding her side wincing in slight pain.

"Pyrrha?" Weiss asks. "Are you alright?" That got Jaune to open his eyes and look at the feminine warrior with worry.

"I'm fine. I just used my aura to unlock his, but the energy surrounding him now is his own." She explains as she looks to Jaune. The scatch on Jaune's face heals up almost instantly. "You have a lot of it." Pyrrha smiles.

"Well, now that we're all set." Ruby unsheathes her scythe and strikes a pose pointing out into the forest. "Onwards to the temple!" This gains a giggle from Pyrrha, a Laugh from Jaune, and an eye roll from Weiss.

"I swear she had to have snuck her way into Beacon." Weiss sighs. "She's so cheerful in the middle of a forest filled with man eating monsters."
