Nula left Weiss and Jacques to bicker as Hope remained unconscious. Deep in the tunnels, Megalon sat upon a throne. Nula walked up to him. Circling him as she trailed her hand across his human form's chest. These forms were excellent for maintaining some sense of secrecy from the humans above. Of course they could switch forms at will, but the sheer size of their true forms would bring too much attention. Here at least, no one could find them.

"Now dear, how do the Kamacuri grow?" Nula asked, coming around and taking a seat on Megalon's lap, wrapping her arms around his neck.

He looked at her. Then gestured to a cage to their left embedded in the wall. The Queen of all Kamacuras laid in her cell, her yellow eyes were distant, her body exceedingly thin, and her mantis abdomen attached to her human form was flattening. Nula smirked.

"I think she's finally broken." Nula commented. "Perhaps some nectar will get her back up and ready for more productive work. Kamacuri!"

Suddenly two mantis women stepped into the room fearful and bowed.

"Get your mother some nectar. I think she's earned it." Nula said. The two Kamacuri nodded and stepped away to fetch the Nectar. Nula turned back to Megalon tracing a nail along his chest. "Perhaps we could show her how it's done dear. My swarm is a little lacking."

Meanwhile in the prisoner chamber where Jacques and Weiss argue, Hope's mind was racing. Then her body glowed a bright gold for a split second. Weiss looked over and frowned.

"Hope?"

Hope was seemingly still unconscious. Weiss sighed in frustration.

Tokyo, Japan

Her blue eyes blinked open in confusion as she looked up at the bright sunlight. The buildings around her were so tall. Taller than she'd ever seen. She then felt someone shove her to the ground and Hope cried out as her elbow skinned against the pavement.

"Ow!"

She looked around. People were running, their screams starting to register in her ears. Hope stood and tried to test her wings only to realize she couldn't feel them. That's when she felt water rush at her ankles, and a loud screeching sound echoed through the buildings. A man in the crowd started shouting at her in a language she didn't initially understand. After a moment though...

"What the hell are you doing kid! Move!"

She felt arms wrap around her and lift her up, running with the crowd. She could see a bit higher up now, but really wished she couldn't. About 50 meters tall, 4 blocks away was a massive lobster. Its massive crusher claw smashed into a building causing rubble to go flying. It then stabbed its long thin pincer claw into the crowd at its feet. Hope couldn't believe what she was seeing. It brought its pincer up, three people stuck to it as it brought them to its mandibles.

Hope looked away. "What is it doing!" She cried.

"Don't look kid. It is a cruel creature from the sea."
