Ishiro walked down the hallway of the G-Force headquarters. He had a meeting with the head of Project T, a project that has been scrutinized ever since it failed to control Godzilla in the years when he was constantly attacking the Japanese Coast. Fortunately after much study and careful analysis, they realized Godzilla was a rather intelligent creature. It remembered stuff much in a similar manner as an elephant. So rather than attacking it like a monster to destroy, the JDF, and G-Force started guiding him away through Project T after reinstating it. With the Mechagodzilla project reinitialized at roughly the same time, a battle seemed eminent. However to their fortune, the battle that came resulted in the Mecha-G fighting with Godzilla rather than against him.

Ishiro shook away the memory of those days. He was only a kid back then. An orphan after his father died from radiation poisoning. Worse he didn't have a grandfather given he died killing the first Godzilla, taking his research with him to the grave. After passing several doors, Ishiro stopped at the one labeled Project T. He could hear yelling inside. He quickly stepped aside as someone approached the door with heavy footsteps. The door opened harshly, and a old man with receding grey hair in a G-Force uniform, exited. The name tag identified him as Commander Takaki Aso. He gave Ishiro an appeasing look before walking off in a huff.

After watching the old commander turn a corner, Ishiro finally moved into the room. It was large and rather empty save for some yoga mats. And a rather empty desk. There were several children in the room, all looked slightly frightened as their teacher spoke up.

"I'm sorry everyone. Perhaps we should call this lesson here." The woman in charge says. She looked rather young for a 50 year old woman. Ishiro could see slight wrinkles on her face. But they were subtle and anyone who didn't know better would assume her to be in her 20s or early 30s. Her name was Miki Saegusa. When she saw Ishiro she smiled lightly. Then she focused back on her students. "Alright everyone, you are dismissed." Miki announced. The students all got up and began filing out. Once Ishiro and Miki were alone, she sighed.

"So, should I ask what that argument was about?" Ishiro asked.

Miki turned away. "The commander is trying to reinstate the Mechagodzilla Project."

Ishiro frowned. "Any particular reason why?"

"After what happened in Tokyo, they are still cleaning up the aftermath." Miki started. "He thinks we should reinstate Mechagodzilla for defense against any further kaiju."

Ishiro hummed. "That's not so bad. Why are you against it?"

"Because, Commander Aso is getting rather old. The next one up to take his position is Vice Commander Satou." Miki says grimly. "And I know unlike Commander Aso, Vice Commander Satou would use Mechagodzilla as a weapon for war against other nations."

Ishiro frowned. "But that's impossible. G-Force, and the Mechagodzilla Project are a combined effort of the United Nations. No one nation has prioritized control over it."

Miki shook her head. "The base is here in Japan. Not many foreign nation workers are still here, leaving Japan in a more advantageous position to take full control."

Ishiro nods slowly. Her concern was valid he knew. It sounded exactly like the kind of audacious thing Vice Commander Satou would do. However that was easily to be rectified if Commander Aso was warned. "So what's the real reason your against it?"

"What?" Miku questioned, startled.

"I know using Mechagodzilla for warfare isn't your main reason. You know as well as I do, Vice Commander Satou can't do something like that easily. What's the real reason?" Ishiro asked.
