I'm drowning!

"Haaa!!! Nmhnn!!!!"

I can't keep myself in the surface! It's like something I can't see and can't feel is trying to pull me down!

I gasped and hold my breath again and again from this strong current.

It felt like I've been here for a long, long time. It's a miracle I'm not dead by drowning yet.

"Haaaa!!!!!!" I gasped out though once again, I was being pulled down.

As I thought about losing my strength. My arms and legs began to feel numb and wobbly.

I held my throat and tried to hold my breath for as long as I can, but it burns, it hurts.

I fixed my gazed at the surface and watch the bubbles that escapes from my mouth float upward, wishing I could join as well.

But then, something else started floating up other than bubbles.

Blood.

It was floating up and up. I followed the trail and it came from my wrist. Even under water, it felt like the hairs on my body stood when I saw such a huge vertical cut on my arm.

I held it and kept a pressure but then, there was also another one on my other arm. I hugged myself and hoped for the best and just wait to die.

Until a voice called out my name in such panic.

"Philipia! Oh my god! Why..."

His voice was quivering in fear.

"Philipia!!! Philipia!"

He kept calling.

Somehow as I sink, I had the urge to reach my hand up and try to comfort whoever's voices it belonged.

"Wake up!"

Without thinking, wasting the small oxygen I have left. I called out his name.

"J...."

My body felt light and heavy, both freezing and burning. A mixture of in-between. I also felt warm and the next, I felt soft.

Just what is happening? What happened to me? Who's voices are these that kept ringing around me?

Why do I feel sad all of a sudden? What is this?

When my back had finally hit the sea floor, the sand slowly yet surely spread upon contact.
